One of my favorite hair oils
Iâve been looking for Japanese hair care products for a while and came across the &honey line. For context, I have bone straight hair that used to be so silky when I was a kid but also super prone to oiliness, split ends, and environmental damage. I after moving back from a place with very hard water, I couldnât get my hair to recover itâs shine at all, and the split ends were stretching far enough that I not only couldnât comb without causing MORE split ends, but I had to cut off a solid 6 inches at the salon. I immediately switched products to this the same day and havenât had a split end in half a year. Plus my hair hasnât been this soft and shiny since elementary school. Itâs also trained my scalp to be less of an oil-well. I use this after towel drying my hair, warming it up a little in my hands and just kind of scrunching it into the ends and up. I alternative between this and camellia oil on non-wash days. The scent is also nice, and it doesnât feel heavy if used properly.

Super hydrating and nongreasy!
This hair oil is super light weight and hydrating. Some other hair oils flattens your hair and just makes you look greasy, but this one doesn’t! Also it has a really nice sweet floral scent, I always get compliments on the smell!

Holy grail for thin straight hair.
My hair has always been thin and Asian straight. I saw this product on tik tok and had to try it out. It smells amazing and not too overwhelming and fades throughout the day. It makes my hair feel so soft, and not so much shiny but it helps with all the tangles in my hair. I apply it right after I shower while my hairs wet and reapply when my hair is 80% dry and then blow dry. Thatâs the method that works best for me. I heard they sell of types of this oil and even shampoo/conditioners for different hair types so Iâll have to check those out as well. I will say the bottle is smaller than I thought but you get a fair amount of pumps. However I Definitely recommend!

a surprisingly lightweight oil
I always used to put a Silk Therapy gel-thing in my hair after showering, which really made my hair soft but it was heavy for my hair. The same thing happens with most hair oils I use; this, though, is strangely moisturizing and also lightweight at the same time. It absorbs into my hair and leaves my hair feeling so soft and smelling wonderful, vaguely of honey. This is definitely one of my favorite haircare products ive purchased in a long time. I have fine hair with large curls for reference!

I’ve tried many oils for use after washing my hair and also on dry days, but none have managed to tame my frizzy hair except for this. My hair looks glossy and not sticky after use. So far its been good and I’ll continue using it.
