Reset my scalp
My scalp was severely inflamed after a vacation that consisted of daily swimming in pools, the ocean and keeping my hair damp for hours. Despite using chlorine removal shampoo my scalp had enough. I took out my braids but my scalp was on fire with itching that scratching never satisfied and I had developed a couple painful wet scabs. I tried to wash more frequently and treat with ACV, rosemary oil and regular H&S but it didn’t provide lasting relief or heal the scabs. My scalp was pleading for something else. I came upon Clinical Strength H&S and purchased the shampoo and conditioner bundle. I was familiar with the smell of selenium sulfide as I had to use it when I was a kid in the Rx form once. Yes, if you have read other reviews the scent is more medicinal but it worked with 2 treatments with washings about 5 days apart.I lifted my scalp with a fine tooth comb. Washed with the shampoo and the conditioner. It did sting a little bit because I had scratched my scalp and the sores were open so you may want to wait an couple hours or overnight if you choose to do this. After my first treatment, I had huge, large dry flakes about 3 days later but there was no itch and my scabs were healing. I’m guessing the seborrheic dermatitis/malasseezia yeast that was on my scalp dried up. I lifted the scalp again and washed and this time I had no itching, no dandruff flakes, no scabs!!! I’m about 5 days from my last wash and I’m flake free and itch free. My scalp feels renewed. Btw, as an African American woman with a 4b hair type, I cannot wash my hair daily. It would severely dry out my hair. So this is promising for anyone who needs to wait in a few days between washes. This product continues to work throughout the week. My scalp is now calm and I can just use it as needed going forward. I am very pleased!!

It does the job.
I use the shampoo and conditioner once a week, after two washes, I haven’t seen any dandruff. It’s got an interesting scent to it, but it’s not the worst smell ever, I just follow it up with my normal shampoo anyways.

Works Wonders
My hubby had been dealing with some sort of scaly issue on his scalp for a while, using Ketoconazole shampoo from the dermatologist…. didnt do anything for 1.5 years. after using this shampoo for a couple weeks (like 2x week), it has completely cleared his scalp!the only downside is… so the shampoo itself has a nice smell, but after using it, for some reason it reacts with his body and makes it smell like he’s got an incontinence issue… but after trial and error, it’s not him… it happens every time after shampooing (still 2x weekly), but he can scrub it away in a day 😅i dont really have the same issue (i’ve used it once or twice), but i feel like for him… the results outweigh the temporary issues ☺️

Actually works
I’ve tried a lot of dandruff remedies in the past. Apple cider vinegar, tar shampoo etc etc. nothing could ever really get rid of my itchy scalp. I use this periodically when I feel things flaring up and no joke I’m good for a week or two, sometimes even longer. It doesn’t smell great but it’s a small price to pay for the results. Also don’t get it in your eye, not joking, burns like crazy.

This is the only anti dandruff shampoo that seems to work long term for me.I’ve tried cheaper ones but they didn’t cut the mustard with my dandruff retuning after several Months. This product, however, clears the dandruff and ( if I continue to use it and not switch to another product) keeps the dandruff away. Will stick to this and can highly recommend
