Ok, I was in desperate need of a gray root touch up because my hair stylist was sick so I decided to try this. Iâm a natural auburn but now Iâm a blonde so the grays come in fast. I tried the dark blonde and it covered my gray perfect! Iâm in love with this product!

You must try in on your hair to see actual color.
I have Auburn hair but when I looked at this it was pretty brown. I tried it anyway and it matched perfectly! I can go weeks longer between coloring my roots now. It does have a kind of powdery feel but Iâll take that when it looks so goo!

Color Isnât Auburn At All
I ordered auburn and it looks nothing at all like the picture here. It looks brown. There is no hint of red at all. Disappointed! That said, it is very easy to apply and non-messy but was a waste of money for me.

Well, I do like the little sponge applicator, and the compact nature of this. I ordered it in Auburn, and it is absent of any red pigment whatsoever. Sadly disappointing. I am using the sponge to apply my previous root touchup that matches much better and Iâve included a picture of the two side-by-side so you could see the difference. If you want something other than Auburn, Iâm sure itâs a great fit for you but if you are a redhead and looking for something to cover your roots, this is not for you. I knew it looked like it didnât match when I opened it, but I kept an open mind and have used it several times. It never has an auburn look when applied.

If you have Very Dark Brown hair, I would order the Black. It does work great! Super Easy to use. But it could be a bit darker. I plan to re-order the Black. Maybe combining the 2 colors will get it where I need it to be.
