work for cats too
I actually use these on a cat, but I suspect they would have the same effect on a person since the mammalian eye in this instance is going to have a lot of the same or similar features. This particular brand was recommended by my veterinary ophthalmologist. My cat has glaucoma, cataracts, eye herpes, uveitis, eye ulcers, corneal sequestrum (a group of dead cells in the eye that are slowly being sloughed off, this problem is particular to cats), and corneal bullae (white spots/swellings on the surface of the cornea). Basically every eye problem a cat can have, he did. He also has inflammatory bowel disease and is on prednisolone (has been for four years), which slows healing of the eye but which he cannot go off. He actually had to go to the emergency vet in July because his eye was bleeding. So anyway, he was in a really bad situation. He has been seeing the veterinary ophthalmologist every couple of weeks since his emergency vet visit. He is on some eye drops she prescribed (an antibiotic, a drug that promotes eye wound healing, and anti-glaucoma drops — dorzolamide). But the ophthalmologist was concerned about dry eye, with the medications he is on and the underlying condition, so she recommended GenTeal. It is important to keep his eyes lubricated so that his eyelids don’t rub on the ulcers and make things worse.Anyway, I am pleased to report that after several months, my cat’s eyes are almost healed. We have been able to reduce a lot of his eye medications. I do believe this is doing a great job at keeping his eyes from drying out. It is a clear drop that is just slightly more viscous than water. It does not appear to sting based on the cat’s reaction when the drop hits his eye. He doesn’t rub at himself afterwards, either. It spreads out nicely over the eye in a few seconds — since I am not using it on myself, I can watch it as it progresses across the surface.Obviously these drops alone did not solve all my cat’s eye problems, but I do think they helped speed healing and they are not irritating him, so I am happy. (The cat is much happier too. He opens his eyes wide now and no longer needs pain medication.)Anyway, these are safe for cats and people and they seem to work really well. Definitely recommended. (Obviously you should have your cat evaluated by a veterinarian before attempting treatment on your own.)

Used for our puppy with tearing eye….work so well!
We brought a Golden Retriever puppy into our lives in May 2024. She was in superb health and yet had a mild case of a tearing right eye. Our vet suggested using a natual tears formula as needed. from the first time we used these drops, they provided lubrication and relief for her issue. Our vet said she’d outgrow this in time and she has, but, in times of dry/dusty weather, both of her eyes sometimes become a bit irritated and these Lubricating eyedrops still resolve the issue quickly. She now comes over to let us put the drops in her eyes. That’s partly from bring so used to this, but, we think the other reason is she knows that means her eyes will be soothed from this procedure.5 Stars from us and our puppy…..these drops are gentle and work so well!

Dry eye relieving
It’s effective. It moisturizes and relieve my dry eyes. I tried many artificial tears, none of them worked for me. This one is great.Easy to use and keep my eyes wet for a long time. I

The twin pack is much better than a single larger pack as you could keep the second bottle in a fresh mode in the fridge.
