FUN CONVERSATIONAL GAME!
I love this game! I saw the listing and fell in love with it. The game is very easy to understand for people of all ages. We played it with my son and daughter who are 7 and 9. The action cards were a nice touch on a classic game! Plus, we were able to have engaging conversations that I never thought I’d have with my kids.I even played this game at game night with a couple friends and it was an absolute blast. The replay value on this game is great.Definitely would recommend buying!

This cozy, intimate game makes for a deeper, more introspective variant of Cards Against Humanity. It gets you and your group making thoughtful connections to the topics it presents. I’m not sure that I’d call it a party game, but that really depends on the party!

Ok, Iâve played a lot of card games before. Family game night, office parties, game night with friendsâyou name it. I love card games, because I donât have to use my phone and itâs a great way of connecting.Honestly, these cards are a wholesome version of Cards Against Humanity and Apples to Apples, with a mindful, action twist.The addition of action cards really spices things up nicely, and it leads to deeper conversations. Theyâre really the best cards Iâve played with and all my friends, family, and coworkers also agree.Going to get them a few for the holidays ð

When You Want to Stretch Yourself During a Game
Unlike other card games I have played, this one is not strictly for laughs. I’m not saying there aren’t some humorous moments, but this game challenges players to answer some serious, heady questions. The game works best when played by people who are willing to be serious about important life questions. The directions are clear (although I had to read them twice before getting it). The game includes Prompt Cards, Response Cards, and Action Cards. As the game begins, each player gets 6 response cards and 2 action cards. One player (the directions suggest it be the youngest player- more on that later), reads a prompt. The other players try to choose one of their six response cards that best answers the prompt. I find that sometimes I don’t have a response card that really fits the prompt, so I have to stretch reality to get the best match that I can out of my 6 limited choices. The person who read the prompt decides which player chose the best answer. That person gets to keep the prompt card. The first person to accumulate 7 prompt cards wins the game (although players are free to decide on an alternate number, such as 5). The action cards are designated to be played before, during, or after a prompt is read. Action cards do things such as let a player change all of their response cards with someone else or to take a prompt card from another player. In that regard, they remind me of Monopoly’s “Get Out of Jail Free” cards. For this game to work, players need to have some life experience to draw on. I don’t think elementary aged students would do well. Precocious teens can handle it. Here are some example prompts: How do you embrace the unknown; how do you maneuver the space between dreams and reality, and describe the essence of a miracle. Here are some sample response cards: In the library of the universe, every story matters; success is journey, not a destination; and growing up is the constant act of letting go. This is a thought-provoking game, more so than any other in my possession.
