Ummm…WOW.
Not gonna lie…I wasn’t expecting much from this powder but…DAMN. I’m actually amazed by this stuff? I used to be one of those lucky few with a clear/clean complexion – no acne (other than the occasional blemish) & was neither oily or dry. It was nice! Theeen I turned 30 & my luck took a turn 🙁 I’m now 38 & have the weirdest combo-skin: the corners of my nostrils, chin, & in between my eyebrows stay SUPER dry/flaky but my t-zone/forehead is always crazy oily & gross. A few hrs (sometimes sooner) after doing my makeup I’m insanely greasy/shiny & my foundation either slides right off or is moving all over the place; I can’t even get it to stick to my nose AT ALL most of the time, & I’ve tried EVERYTHING to fix it, with zero luck. I live in CO (it’s not humid lol) so I don’t get it.After this got delivered today I showered & tried it out. I dabbed it onto my oiliest areas (t-zone/forehead/nose, under my eyes, as well as the eyelids themselves). I wanted to see what this could do without any base at all (no moisturizer, primer, etc.), so after dabbing it, I went ahead & did my makeup & right away I could tell this is gonna be a game changer/Holy Grail cuz not only was my skin softer than it’s ever felt (to the touch), but the foundation 100% stuck to my nose??? Zero effort, 1st try. As I write this, it’s been about 6 hours since I 1st applied my makeup & my foundation is still in place & a soft-matte…huh??? Lol I should have definitely needed a touch-up (or two) by now but I don’t.I noticed some reviewers saying this leaves a white cast & others said they didn’t care for the puff that’s included but I disagree with both. Maybe cuz I’m very pale to begin with but I think it’s actually more cuz of how little product I actually put on my face – that’s also why I’m not even mad about how tiny the container is anymore (initially I was disappointed by the small size/amount but I understand why that is now). A TINY bit goes an incredibly long way, so I can see this lasting a good while before I need to buy another.HOW I APPLIED IT: I didn’t throw away the sticker that covers the little holes inside, just set it aside. I put the puff back on top of the now exposed holes & flipped it over to tap the product directly onto the included puff (doing this once for each area of my face) & then put the sticker back over the holes to keep the product in the bottom of the container – what came out onto the puff when I did this seemed (& is) more than enough.Idk for sure if this would further dry out or irritate the other areas of my face, cuz I didn’t put product there, but I have a feeling it might if I were to try it or use too much product, so if you also have combo skin like me, I wouldn’t suggest putting this all over your face. Just areas that you’d normally need to dab with oil absorbing sheets throughout the day. I’ve also noticed that putting it on my eyelids did exactly what I was hoping – made my eyeshadow last much longer. Bonus!This stuff is seriously powdered MAGIC & not only will I continue to purchase religiously for myself, I’ll also be buying some for my 19 yr old daughter & a few of my friends that have oily skin, too. My only complaint is that I haven’t seen this advertised anywhere! Wish I had known about it waaay sooner lol

Formula change maybe?
Let me preface by saying that my skin is dumb oily. I’m currently taking spirolactone in hopes that it will combat this years long issue but I’m only a few weeks in. Anyway, I bought this years ago and it really didn’t do much. Perhaps they changed the formula. I applied the powder under a concealer that I really love, but it’s infamous for turning my face into a greaseball not too long after application. The concealer was on my face for a little over 3 hours and I barely had any oil. There was just a tad bit of breakthrough. I’m going to try the powder again when I have to wear makeup for an extended period of time to see what happens, but thus far I’m impressed.

Makes my skin dehydrated
For those who have DEHYDRATED skin (you might have oily skin but dehydrated) , it’s a NO. It really absorbs oil and makes your skin drybefore Etude I used to use Innisfree powder that was really good , I wanted to het cheaper one so purchased this pne and I am not happy

love but it leaves a white cast

I’ve tried various powders and creams to prevent shine on the oily areas of my face, such as my nose, and nothing has worked as well as this product. I dab it on before work (early in the morning) and my nose stays shine and oil free all day. Very impressed!
