Convenient little sunscreen stick
It glides on really smoothly and doesn’t leave any sort of residue or leave my skin feeling oily (which is something I struggle with). Haven’t tried it on top of makeup yet but I think it would work well since you don’t have to press it too hard to your face and just glides over your skin. Happy I found these and will continue to purchase them. Also love that all of elf’s products are vegan but still so affordable.

Great Concept, But the Strong Sunscreen Smell is a Dealbreaker
When I saw this product on Amazon, I was so excited and added it to my cart immediately. I love invisible sunscreen sticks, especially for on-the-go use, and when I saw that e.l.f. had released one, I had to try it. At the time of purchase, I hadnât heard much about it, so Iâm not sure if itâs a newer product or just not that popular yet.While I canât say Iâm disappointed, I havenât used it as much as I expected for one big reasonâthe strong sunscreen smell. I have tried several facial sunscreen sticks, and most donât have a strong fragrance, but this one has that typical overpowering sunscreen scent. I could probably push through if I really wanted to, but since I have other products that work just as well (if not better) without the scent, I find myself reaching for those instead.That being said, I do think it has some great features. The size is smaller than I expected, but thatâs not a bad thing since it makes it more travel-friendly and convenient to carry around. It glides onto the skin smoothly and is truly invisible with no white cast, which is exactly what I was looking for. The price point is also really reasonable, especially compared to similar sunscreen sticks. I didnât personally try applying it over or under makeup, but given its solid texture, I think it could work well for that.However, I did find it a little difficult to blend. While it applies smoothly, it doesnât really spread out easily, so I felt like I had to use my hands to help distribute it, especially around my nose and eyes. The strong fragrance was also hard to ignore, and I donât typically consider myself sensitive to scents, but this one was just too overpowering for something used on the face.Overall, I donât hate this sunscreen stick, but I wish it had little to no scent. If that were the case, I think Iâd use it a lot more. If you donât mind the classic sunscreen smell and need a travel-friendly invisible SPF, this could be a great option. However, if youâre sensitive to fragrance or prefer an odorless sunscreen, Iâd suggest looking elsewhere.

Good quality sunscreen, I am incredibly fair skinned and burn badly even in the UK and used this in Mauritius for a 2 week period. Compact, non greasy and I personally considered it a dupe on a product almost twice the price from Clarins. The only negative is the amount of product is not great, especially when reapplying throughout the day, it runs out pretty quickly. Also some product is left âstuckâ in the container and would require you to scoop it out somehow to use the entire unit, hence the 4 stars. Overall, decent product that makes sure you donât get burnt!
