Back in the early century when Vitalis hair tonic came out, they touted putting their tonic in via a 30 second workout, meaning to rub it in the scalp and massage the scalp for 30 seconds. Though there is no silver bullet solution to bad genetics, it was and is a good idea to keep the scalp in good shape by stimulating the surface. This removes dandruff and promotes a healthier scalp. Yanagiya medicated hair tonic is not minoxidil. It will not grow back hair. But this tonic massaged in can provide help to dandruff and be a part of a healthy scalp with noticeably less hair fall. So, with its soothing menthol and ginseng, you really can feel the cooling effect it has. I use this when I get home from work. I rinse off the Vitalis and minoxidil I applied in the morning and apply this with the 30 second workout. I recommend this hair tonic as a regular way to keep your scalp healthy.

I seldom leave a review on Amazon because the products I got were normally acceptable. I feel no need to do so. However, for this one I need to say something. I got this product on Monday, Feb 13th, and I used it the next day. I used it according to the instruction which is 2-3 times a day, and I apply some on my scalp every time. After two days of using, I woke up with itches on my skin. At first I thought it was the bugs, so I scratched the itchy areas. All of a sudden, I felt the skin on my butt was bumpy and itchy. When I touched it, I could feel the belt like bumps formed on my butt. Then I looked into mirror of that area, I was so scared!! Apparently, it was the allergy from this product. Research shows that certain chemicals can cause allergies. I haven’t got in touch with any chemicals recently except for this one. I’m not easy to be allergic honestly, but this hair tonic taught me a lesson. I know I need to stop using it. People who are allergic type, please think twice before buying it.
