Application: Smooth on clean skin with fingertips prior to foundation. NOTE: The bottle uses airless pump technology. Airless pumps work by vacuum and a piston. They may require a number of priming pumps to remove any air that is inside the container. Evens skin tone
I donât understand the negative reviews of this primer. I love it. Some days I just use the luminous primer and no foundation, it does that good of a job and evening and brightening my skin tone. I think the texture may interfere with some types of foundation but I havenât had that issue at all. It really holds my powder foundation all day.

I really wouldnât call this a primer it does nothing my skin looks worse after using it somehow itâs just a strange product I wish I did not purchase it. Has no priming effect under my makeup and leaves my skin looking like it needs washed again.

I have never used a primer before and this one is amazing. I can put it on in the morning and then apply my make up and it lasts and stays on all day long! All day! I love it… this is my 2nd one I’ve ordered and I highly recommend it! Great product!

New formula? Leaves skin shiny & greasy. Will change brands
I have used the mattifying primer for YEARS. Loved it- product felt silky, immediate shine control that lasted all day and no smell. Now, for months it was not available on subscribe & save. Re-ordered what looks like the same product but with updated packaging (now plastic instead of glass bottle) and name (now matte pore-refining primer). The new product feels greasy, leaves my face shiny, has an unpleasant smell, and I have to scrub my hands for it to somewhat wash off. I ordered a second bottle thinking perhaps I got the wrong item, but it is the same. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated- I need to start from the beginning to find a similar product as the original mattifying primer.

Not the Same as Past Mineral Fusion Product
I’ve used Mineral Fusion Color Correcting Primer in the old pump applicator for quite some time. The product was perfect and light and easy to absorb, but the pump always got clogged.I tried the new version in the new applicator pump hoping it would be a big improvement. Product is much thicker and doesn’t absorb like the previous one did. Not loving it.I signed up for a subscription for convenience before trying this product. I can’t seem to find how to cancel the subscription?

Best pore refining
I bought this mostly for a primer. This has been amazing for reducing my large pores which has helped clear up my acne. This product is a triple threat. It kills acne, closes pores, and keeps my makeup in place. The best part is it makes me glow.

Not the Same Primer
I’ve been using the Matte Pore-Refining Primer for years–it was silky, odorless, and transparent. It went on smoothly and easily, delivered on its promised matte finish, and had staying power for long work days. This new version is vastly different–it’s thick and almost gluey, which means it doesn’t go on smooth and feels just…kind of gross all day. It also smells potently chemical, almost like paint thinner. What? Please bring back the old formula!
