Really repels mosquitos
There are many fine web sites that state lavender is a good mosquito repellent because the little monsters don’t like the smell. I love the smell of lavender and was happy to find this product. It works very well for me. By the time I read about lavender in August as a bug repellant it was far to late in the season, even in the deep south, to grow it. Many folks have complained about this products smell being “off”. It’s not as fragrant as lavender oil so I say to them, make ur own spray. Unless you are traveling to a region where malaria, dengue fever or West Nile virus is endemic, lavender water is much safer product than Deet or Picaridin.

Smells terrible
When I opened the box, I found this package entirely wrapped in tight fitting plastic like done in a factory. That wrapped the entire bottle. I started unwrapping that and was getting a terrible smell and then felt liquid on my hands. There was an additional factory wrap over the spray head, which was leaking out liquid. I wiped down the bottle and spray head, thinking the terrible smell had been because the liquid had been in contact with the plastic. I sprayed some out into the sink. Then I sprayed some onto my arm. Terrible smell. It smells more like the rose that it’s supposed to be with but hardly any lavender, and the combination is horrible. I had previously ordered some cream of the same fragrance and that was not horrible, although I did have to add some of my own lavender essential oil. Would never buy again and would not want a replacement.

love the scent – only issue is it stays wet for awhile
I love the scent – many pillow lavender sprays add other scents, this is just lavender. Only issue I have is I spray it on my pillow and it stays wet for awhile – maybe 10 min. So I have learned to turn down my bed, spray my pillow then go wash my face and brush my teeth. By time I return it is dry. Easy fix because it does smell great.
