Finally found replacement for Pacifica shade 1
I was really struggling to find a replacement for Pacifica shade 1 translucent setting powder as they apparently stopped making it. I wanted something that matched my skin tone so closely just like that product did. I ordered and tried about 15 different brands/shades/types of powder and this one was the winner based on color. I was surprised given that I tried products ranging from $6 to $40 that inexpensive Covergirl was the winner. The texture isn’t quite the same as Pacifica and it doesn’t disappear as seamlessly as the Pacifica powder did, but it’s the right color with pink undertones that doesn’t make my skin look yellow. It’s the closest replacement that I’ve been able to find after fairly extensive research. Note: Photo shows Covergirl Product on top of the Pacifica powder (in pink) for comparison.

A good value for the money.
I’ve used this shade for a number of years. Goes on evenly, and covers well. It’s a good product.

Good Coverage and Price
Convenient packaging, good for oil control and does not leave a white finish. Comes with a small mirror and did not cause breakouts for me.

Great powder. I really like that it doesn’t have talc. I have traded my luxury brand for this because of it. I even use a very light (almost next to nothing amount) dusting before I apply my primer and foundation so it makes my pores appear less visible and it works like a charm for me. Will keep buying for sure.

I was told at the stores that this product had been discontinued, which I regretted, since I liked that specific shade. But I was in luck to find it later on Amazon, at a fraction of the price than in my neighborhood drug store. Plus, delivered next day. Excellent job Amazon!
