No burn
I wanted something that was pretty clean, fewer toxic chemicals. I haven’t worn sunscreen in decades because of the toxicity, but I was taking a cruise to the Caribbean and I thought I might burn. Well, I put one layer on my exposed skin before leaving on shore excursions, and I did not get any burning at all. So I’m a fan. Still won’t use every day or anything but I’m glad I didn’t burn.

Perfect
The best sun screen I ever used

Good But Watery
Very thin. Will flow out of bottle if put upside down. Gives initial white cast, then disappears in a few minutes

Dermatologist recommeded.
After seeing my dermatologist to remove a precancerous spot my doctor game me a list of mineral sunscreens that they recommended.. Not to expensive so I will give this one a try.

Zinc Oxide Sunscreen is the best choice!
Iâm happy I decided on Coppertone Pure & Simple Zinc Oxide Sunscreen. The 6 ounce bottle is well worth the price as a little goes a long way. I always give the bottle a good shake before applying it. This was the first year I sought out all zinc oxide sunscreens. I wanted to avoid the bad ingredients in regular sunscreens Iâve used in the past. This is free of octinoxate & oxybenzone which are the 2 main bad ingredients in most sunscreens. This pure & simple sunscreen is free of PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid) which is an ingredient you should avoid in the interest of protecting your overall well-being. Itâs also parabens, dye & fragrance free. I like the 50 SPF. I did some research on what itâs a good SPF to look for. This is what I learned: âSPF50 will last 2 hours in the sun. It should protect you 50 times as long as your skin would be able to naturally protect itself. However, remember that the lower the SPF and longer the length of time since application, the less UVB rays will be filtered so a reapplication every two hours is highly recommended.â Another great feature this sunscreen has is the active ingredient of zinc oxide is at 24.08%. I didnât know what that meant so again I researched it. This is what I learned: âItâs recommended looking for a sunscreen label for a zinc oxide concentration of 20-25% for best protection from UVA and UVB rays.â So thumbs up on everything this Coppertone Pure & Simple sunscreen offers. Be careful as it comes out a little watery quickly but it rubs nicely onto my skin & is absorbed immediately. Thereâs no residue or white cast look to it period. Yesterday I worked outside for 5 hours. I took a couple breaks & did reapply after 2 hours. I didnât burn period. This sunscreen kept my skin safe. I also decided to apply it to my face because I had it handy with me outside & my face sunscreen was in the house. This was lightweight on my face & didnât irritate my sensitive skin. I feel it could easily be used as a facial sunscreen. So many positives Iâve found with this sunscreen! I most definitely recommend it!

Goes on easy, comes off — impossible!
I have very pale, sensitive skin and decided to try a zinc sunscreen. First, the good bits. It does a wonderful job of blocking the sun. It is very water resistant. Next, the bad bits. Even though my skin is very pale, it does leave a visible white cast. And it is very water resistant. It’s nearly impossible to get off. Soap doesn’t take it off, non-soap face cleansers don’t take it off. To get it off my arms, I had to use a scrubbing brush. To get it off my face, I used a Buf-Puf (facial sponge), the surface of which was immediately coated with zinc sunscreen that I could not wash out. And I still didn’t get it all off but had to wash a second and third time with fresh Buf-Pufs. I’ve since read that using olive oil to loosen the zinc works, but I’m not going to try it. I may use it again on my arms, knowing that I’ll have to use a brush to scrub it off. That’s OK for my arms, but I don’t want to get rough with the sensitive skin on my face. Oh, yeah, one more bad thing: I did not expect this sunblock to bother my eyes, which are also quite sensitive to any chemicals around my face. I was very careful not to get the zinc within 3/4 inch of my eyes, yet they were still irritated by it. Great idea, maybe works well for some, but definitely not for me.

I buy this on repeat
This is a great sunscreen for those wanting to avoid toxic chemicals.Doesnât leave a ton of white cast. Some but not bad. I issue this under my makeup on my face every day.Somewhat tacky until it dries. Good smell.

It’s a nice value for money product. But the design for the cover needs to be improved. Because the hole is flushed with the cover, a lot of the sunscreen lands up on the cover and it’s wasted cos I personally found it gross to wipe the excess off the surface and then putting it on my face! Hope there can be a better bottle design at least for the cover:)

Buenas protección, no deja la piel blanca como fantasma, no se siente grasosa, por el precio y la cantidad del producto muy recomendable

Finally a sunscreen that has the active ingredient zinc oxide at 21% which is the recommended level for the sunscreen to be effective. I’m fully satisfied ð. But a tad costly for me.
