Good product with some flaws
I appreciate having a sunscreen spray like this that I can apply over my makeup while working in the middle of the day. However, I’m not a huge fan of the scent and how it affects the texture of my hair around my face. I usually have to make sure my hair is tucked behind my back and that my bangs are shielded before spraying it on; otherwise, some of the product lands on my hair and makes it feel greasy. Aside from that, I enjoy using this spray, knowing my skin is protected throughout the day.

I love all of the Coola products I have used. The spray isnât to heavy and it feels good on my skin. The smell is t horrible, just a slight medicinal smell, but itâs not overpowering.

BURNED MY FACE
I started having red, swollen, itchy under eyes in August of 2024. I have a couple auto immune diseases and had recently changed my skin care so I chalked it up to that. In October I went to Greece for a month and took this with me as my only make setting spray and used it through out the day for SPF. Reaction on my face got progressively worse. More swelling, burning, redness and then flaking off like a severe sun burn. I was diagnosed with Rosacae due to these symptoms. Christmas I used this for the first time since October. My face started itching by about 4 pm. I took some benadryl before I went to bed and woke up the next morning with my face completely swollen, could barely see. I couldn’t put contacts in due to the swelling and glasses hurt.I started using this product in 2022. And the reaction has progressively gotten worse. I am so glad I figured this out as I’m getting married next month outside and was planning on bringing it with me for our hiking prior to the wedding.The first ingredient is alcohol! Beware. I love Coola and their sunscreens. Just not this product.

Used to LOVE this
I got one of these in a beauty box a couple years ago and I LOVED IT! Fast forward to ordering this one and it’s not the same. The bottle was different (smaller and more lightweight, feels like plastic rather than glass and the design is different) but it matches what Coola shows on their website, so I believe it’s authentic. However, the formula must have changed from then to now.I don’t mind the smell (perfumey but alcohol smell to it which USED to dissipate fast). The smell doesn’t dissipate like it used to. It also doesn’t evaporate off as well as it used to. It’s a make up setting spray NOT a sunscreen only spray. I don’t understand all the reviews complaining that it burns skin when directly applied. It’s not meant to be applied directly to skin. it’s a MAKE UP Setting spray. It’s meant to be sprayed over make up. Which it’s always worked well, dried fast and the smell has gone away rather quickly.The new bottle is leaving a damp feeling for hours over my make up, smells WAY stronger and doesn’t dissipate. It doesn’t have the same intensity of “burn” as before so maybe it has less alcohol (which would also explain why it doesn’t evaporate as well)? It DOES hold make up, but can smear it easily (before it set it really well even when wiping gently it wouldn’t come off).Before I recommended this to everyone I know who would use it. Not so much now. I don’t know if I received a bad bottle (maybe why the price went down to $27?) or if it’s genuinely different than it used to be. But this one has been somewhat lacking and not sure if I’ll use it past this one.

I’ve tried another brand and it stunk, the smell was atrocious.I saw this product on your site and had to give it a try. I must say it’s really good. You can reapply as needed and be protected. I really like it.

Spray action broke on 3rd use. Now have to take top off and tip onto hands. Useless as whole point was to spray over makeup.
