Game Changer
I kept seeing ads for Carpe products and decided to give in and take a look. The reviews were promising. I’ve been an Urban Decay girl for years but it was no match for these triple digits days, my makeup sweated off and got patchy by 9am. This spray is INCREDIBLE!!! I thought I was just impressing myself, haha, but then around 9pm my fiance asked if I put on makeup. This will not be my last bottle.It has a light scent which I don’t mind, and the mist feels so refreshing. It definitely gives you a thorough and even coverage. It’s sticky at first but that goes away quickly. 10/10

Doesn’t work
I’ve tried this spray multiple times now and it doesn’t go anything. Even without sweating, it doesn’t keep my makeup in place at all. On top of that, it smells terrible, like vinegar. I wouldn’t recommend this as all!

I was unfortunately cursed with always being very hot and getting hot easily, which turns me into a sweaty girl pretty quickly. I know sweating is a normal bodily function, but itâs still pretty embarrassing and just not very flattering to be the only one sweating in a room when other people are comfortable or even chilly.I pair this setting spray with the carpe face lotion and Iâve noticed a significant difference in how quickly I start to sweat and the amount of sweat I have to deal with. I put it on everyday, whether Iâm wearing make up or not!It doesnât completely stop me from sweating (but tbh that just might be a me & my body temperature issues problem) but the fact that I even notice a difference in how much Iâm sweating and how quickly I begin sweating is a huge win for me!!!I spray my whole face but I also make sure I spray this right on my hair line around my head even on the back of my neck, and thatâs really where Iâve seen the biggest impact in my sweating struggles. It doesnât do anything to my hair like make it feel sticky or look weird, and it helps control the sweat around it!I havenât noticed any stickiness. I will say, I donât love the smell, it doesnât smell horrible, but itâs just not the greatest smell.I think my biggest complaint is I havenât been able to actually find it in stores anywhere yet, so I can only get it online, which I find a bit annoying.

Iâve tried a lot of products to combat my oily skin and this brand works for me so far. I donât feel like my makeup separates and living in the south, heat is one thing that is very hard to combat. I highly recommend trying

I am updating my review because customer service contacted me and addressed my concerns.I’m blown away with customer service! WOW!!! I love Carpe products but this one is a disappointment. It is not mattifying. I have tried spraying close to the skin, further away, and shaking the bottle. Same results.
