Great for cleaning stubborn dirt
I saw these all over TikTok and decided to give it a try since I have super grody grout in my kitchen and bathroom. The cleaner took a little trial and error at first, but I got the hang of using it. I feel it works best with the hose attachment on it and the brushes and things added on that. when you use it, make sure you have a ratty old towel on hand – as this cleans, it leaves a lot of water behind and you’ll need to towel to wipe it up! I tried it in my kitchen first, and I made some progress, but not as much as I’d hoped. I used it again in my bathroom and it made a huge difference there, so I suspect I need to do a deeper treatment in the kitchen with the tile there. I found the machine overall to be very effective, and I love the different attachments as well as the long cord. The only downside is that the brushes wear down super fast, which means I either have to purchase replacements or use separate scrubbing brushes in conjunction with it. Also, be very careful with the attachments near your bare skin – I accidentally burned my foot when the hose curled back after I set it down for a moment. Also, the machine is loud when the steam is coming out, so if that is a sensory issue for you, wear some headphones!

TikTok Made Me Buy It – And I’m So Glad I Did!
I purchased this after seeing it all over TikTok, and wow, I’m completely floored! I didn’t realize how dirty my grout had gotten until I used this cleaner. It was like magic—what seemed like clean grout before was revealed to be full of grime and build-up once I started using this steam cleaner. The power and precision of the steam are incredible, and it worked wonders on my floors, kitchen tiles, and even my bathroom grout. The handheld design made it super easy to control.The only downfall is that it produces a lot of water during use, so you’ll want to have a dedicated rag or two nearby for cleanup. I’d definitely recommend mopping afterward to soak up any excess moisture. But aside from that small inconvenience, this steam cleaner is a total game-changer! Highly recommend if you want to give your home a deep clean!

Press the “trigger” down hard to get steam, not just the small button!
Bissell needs to update their instructions to illustrate how much the back “trigger” needs to be pressed down in order to activate the steamer. The instructions make it seem like the small button is all that is needed and nowhere is there illustration of the actual trigger pressed down. I first ordered the product and returned it thinking it was defective due to this misunderstanding. I didn’t want to break the back piece off pressing it down! Finally, I came across a video describing the issue and figured out the second unit before sending it back. The unit itself is not very powerful steam compared to my bigger steam unit, but portability and convenience trump the lack of power. I can keep this unit under my bathroom sink and pull it out quickly to do a cleanup and disinfecting. For sure, buy the unit with the extender hose as it would be very difficult to reach the back of the faucets or behind the toilet without it. All in all, a solid and useful machine to own.
