Favorite foundation!
Bella Terra is my go-to mineral foundation. As a black American woman who knows how difficult it is to find makeup in the proper shade, this matches perfectly and I’m a loyal customer. Working in cosmetics, I’ve tried A LOT of brands, looking for something not chock-full of questionable chemicals, and this wins hands-down. I think the coverage is much improved when using a primer (I use the Bella Terra primer, and although I prefer a pump rather than a jar for hygienic reasons, it’s definitely a keeper). My skin is very problematic; oily and prone to acne (cystic, whiteheads and milia) but using the non-comedogenic primer under concealer (Nars) and topping it off with this foundation doesn’t make me breakout or look greasy. Living in a humid, sunny and hot climate, this is very important so I’m so glad I’ve finally found something natural-looking that does the trick with gentle formulation in a precise hue for dark skin. Did I mention how great it is to find this online so as to avoid the unbelievable markup and highly annoying pushy sales reps in the mall kiosks?

Ordered Two And Loved Both!
I ordered the Chestnut color a few months ago and I ordered a Maple one recently. I attached a picture I took with Chestnut on one of my cheeks and Maple on the other. I really like both. LOL.I have decided to wear the Chestnut in the summer for a more sun-kissed look and the Maple in the winter. Unlike other foundations, this product has never given me any acne and my skin looks actually looks better after I remove the makeup. I highly recommend this item!

Love the natural look and feel, lasts a long time
Iâve been using this for a couple decades, I like the coverage and light feel. It doesnât cause my skin to breakout like other foundations. I was able to return when I purchased the wrong color.I love the bb cream concealer with this, a little tapped onto problem areas with a brush is perfect, and this powder applies nicely over it.

Many dislikes but it does the job
I was hesitant to buy because of reviews but I did so anyways. First I did not like that I couldnât track my package had me worried and feeling like I lost money on something I wanted but didnât need. Eventually I was surprised to find it in my mailbox in a yellow envelope. All that was inside was what I bought I would think if it was from bellatierra it would come with a brochure something marketing their brand but no. The power piles up around the rim and where the top twist so when you close it you have excessive powder in the spot you use it so becareful with your clothes. You can tell itâs a knock off but I donât have no complaints how it looks applied on me and have got compliments on how my skin looks. I would buy again

It’s almost the perfect mineral foundation…
I bought a lighter and darker tone in order to mix them to match my skin tone throughout the year (darker in summer, lighter in winter.) Nice complete coverage and doesn’t make me break out, it may feel a little bit cakey if you have oily skin and you use a bunch of it without primer or blotting, but the same holds for most powders out there. You can use a light dusting to even out your skin tone a little or layer it on to hide scars and discoloration. I use it without a liquid foundation or concealer and it does a great job, just a teeny bit of primer underneath because I have oily skin. I feel like the only thing wrong with it is that it can feel cakes if you don’t apply it carefully and properly. Been buying Belle Terra mineral foundations for 3 years now and don’t plan on changing.
