So listen… I thought I was about to have my Batana Oil hair transformation moment, until it weighed down my locs too much after washing. I can’t use this in my hair without turning into a butterball. ðBUT you know what? When life gives you oil, you pivot! I’ve been using this at night on my hands and feet and itâs honestly saving me from feeling like sandpaper. I lather it on, throw some socks on, and by morning my feet are soft and smooth without any greasy residue or mystery smells. I actually donât even notice a scent lingering in the morning, which I love. Plus, itâs sourced from Honduras, so I feel extra good about supporting something natural and authentic. If you’re looking for a heavy-duty, no-fuss, multipurpose oil that wonât have you sliding around smelling like a hot mess, 10/10 would recommend for my fellow rough hand girls.

Loving it. Directions are to use it on wet hair> then shampoo, I use it in the shower. It’s too heavy to use more than perhaps once a week. At least for my hair. But it coats my hair well, doesn’t smell weird or anything. I haven’t had it all that long just yet, so I can’t speak too much about any longer term use, but it does seem like my hair is holding moisture better, seems lovely and soft. It washes out well after use and I think it will continue to be a great product. Would recommend to others to try.

Healing to skin
Bought to use as a hair mask but have used it nightly on my face. It seems to be doing a better job of hydrating than expensive creams. The oil itself is think and easy to apply and doesnât have much of a scent at all, maybe just a light fresh but not noticeable or overpowering.

Honestly I have never used batana oil so I have nothing to compare it with. I heard it was good for the growth of hair and wanted to try it. I can say It has a not so bad smell and has a nice light consistency and so far I’m pleased with it.

Not for fine hair
I realized after purchasing that NONE of the reviews are verified buys. Itâs says it comes with a comb, but does not. I applied to my hair and let it sit as directed and when I when to wash it out it was a NIGHTMARE!!! Itâs like petroleum jelly or Vaseline. I tried multiple shampoos⦠nothing worked. Finally I scrubbed my hair with dawn dish soap 🙁 I did apply it to dry hair only because it directs you to shampoo after & I canât imagine standing in the shower for 15 minutes before then. You canât return if opened. I do have very fine hair, but now I am nervous to see what it looks like after the dawn dish soap.

Smooth, Silky Hair
Over the winter months, my hair grew dull and dry despite using my regular shampoo and conditioner. So I went out on a limb and and bought Yeokoe Batana Oil. I applied it to my hair roots, circling to create a pleasant massage, for five minutes. Then I combed the oil through the rest of my hair, waited 10 minutes, then rinsed it out. I’m pleased with the shine and softness of my hair and look forward to seeing the results after using the oil over the next weeks of winter. If you haven’t used this oil, give it a try – You’ll have tresses you’ll LOVE!
