Best foundation
I’ve been using bareMinerals powder foundation for close to a decade. I have very sensitive skin and have fluctuated between mild and moderate/severe acne so love how light and breathable it feels (never heavy or caked), but provides good coverage over my concealer for an even skintone for most of the day. I do sometimes need to reapply for the evening if I’m getting more dressed up, but prefer the how light it is for everyday, and this lasts me close to a year with daily application. I also appreciate that they have different color tones as I am very fair skinned but with pink tones and most brands have very yellow undertones for their lightest colors. I’ve used both the original and matte finishes but have not noticed a significant enough difference to have a strong preference between the two. I don’t anticipate switching foundations until they discontinue this one.

I have tried a zillion foundations from crazy expensive to crazy affordable. I used to use bare minerals years ago & just strayed. The last foundation ( Bobbie brown) was awful. It felt and looked like you put melted Vaseline on your face. It really accentuated my pores. I tried all levels of application with it but to no avail. Now I use it as a tinted moisturizer on my arms. Well, anyway,,,,I rediscovered the bare minerals. I forgot how light it feels on your face. And how it truly does even out the skin tone. I usually put a light moisturizer on and wait 10 min before lightly applying with a very soft brush. My sun spots are a different, drier texture, which is why I have to apply a moisturizer first,,,plus AIâm 64,,,,gotta apply a little in general. I do fight trying camouflage my sun spots,,,especially since they are right on my cheek bones. I feel as though this does take them down a notch without having to pile on concealor first. The compact will last a long time. I love all the shades to choose from. I find golden biege works great on my winter skin. Iâll probably add a little bronzer, for the summer and itâll carry me through that season as well. If you really want a smooth look, you may want to do your razor planing, to remove those facial peach fuzzies.

I have been using for years. Itâs easy to put in and lasts awhile. Iâm not sure how much it covers but it feels like Iâm wearing nothing. I have explored with different colors depending on the year.
