I tried this brand for the first time to have a sunscreen on-the-go and it is perfect. The Shea butter helps hydrate and protect my face acting as a moisturizer!It is very tiny in size so I don’t recommend this size for beach day use, but perfect for applying in small areas (hands/face).

Tiny!
Sometimes it’s hard to picture things in this type of measurement and these are tiny. Like just over one inch by 3-in or to even two and a half little bars. Great to toss in the bag and not take up a bunch of space, I like the easy application, also an EWG approved sunscreen but definitely expensive for the size.

Works great & has PERFECT PACKAGING – flat design doesn’t roll away, provides larger application area, and keeps lid clean.
I have tried at least 8 different natural sunscreen brands. Babo is my favorite. I have used Babo Botanicals SPF 40 Daily Sheer Facial Sunscreen, Babo Botanicals SPF 30 Clear Zinc Lotion, Babo Botanicals SPF 30 Fragrance Free Clear Zinc Sport Stick, and this Babo Botanicals Super Shield SPF 50 Natural Sport Stick. I like them all: they are less gooey and less white than other similar product, so they are easier to apply and don’t give too much ghost-look. And my 2 sons and I have never gotten sunburn using them, usually with just one application in the morning (contrary to the recommendation). I mostly order this particular stick because the design of the case for this stick is PERFECT. The lid covers basically the entire stick, so when I’m putting it on and rubbing it in and putting more on, the white, oily, stickiness on my hands only gets on the inside portion of the container, and when I put the lid on it it totally clean! Also, the flattened stick provides a wider area of application and does not roll off the counter — a significant improvement over the round stick. I also find it easier to wedge into my purse, the car, etc. However, this product gets an EWG Skin Deep score of 4 (kind of bad), whereas their round SPF 30 sport stick scores 1 (best). So seemingly, the round stick has better ingredients, so I wish they would also package it in this flatter style. BUT, interestingly, the only difference in the ingredients is that this stick contains Oryzanol, which is rated 1 by EWG, so I do not understand why this product gets a 4. So I’ll probably continue to order this, because of the advantages of the flat design. It might be nice if they sold it in a larger size, but this generally lasts 3 people about 2 weeks (of daily use), so it is a decent size.

It’s sticky and leaves a white cast
It is not quickly absorbed as described. It is very sticky! Also it leaves a white cast. It’s so sticky that my hair got “stuck” on my face. Unfortunately it’s not returnable. Just a heads up for anyone who’s hoping it’s a quick dry sun stick I’m sorry to report it’s NOT.

I purchased 3 suntan options for the kids this hols as this was without doubt the best.SOOOO easy to apply – roll up the stick, paint it on and then rub it in… much less messy that squirting lotion into your hands to apply.Coverage lasted well in pool and not sticky like other lotions. This stick is tiny but it lasted a family of 5 (faces only) for a week and still going strong. Fits easily in a handbag. In future I may use for arms & legs too.Will be buying again & happily recommend to othersFor those looking for non-toxic options – the non nano zinc oxide means your skin doesn’t absorb it – it sits on the surface. Very impressed!

Good quality stick, easy to apply. Keep in mind this is meant to block sunlight from small exposed areas – nose, cheek bones, moles, scars, perhaps the back of the neck. For larger surfaces I would recommended a traditional sun cream.If you are reading this you are probably concerned abut ingredients and I recommend Ultrasun SPF 20 Sports Gel (NOT SPF 30) for the rest of the body.
