Finally a tinted spf I love
Love that this is EWG verified non toxic. Love that it is unscented. I was worried that the tint would be too tan, as I have lighter (neutral undertone) complexion but it’s totally fine. It makes me look slightly tanner than I am (not sure how it would look on very fair skin tone). I’m fine with that, above all just happy there’s no white cast as there is with most mineral sunscreens. I don’t mind that it’s a small size, I feel like it’s still going to last a while. It is very moisturizing, which is perfect for me as I have dry skin. I have not noticed it getting on any clothes like other reviewers mentioned, but I haven’t gone swimming with it. Super happy I gave this a try. Babo seems like a wonderful brand. Although, I would love to see this company go plastic-free, like the Attitude company is trying to do.

INEFFECTIVE and PORE CLOGGING
Okay, I love the ingredients, but my skin did not. This formulation completely messed up my skin. It did not protect my skin from the sun as I noticed ALL hyperpigmentation got worse. In fact, I developed some in new places. Additionally, this caused major breakouts as it clogged my pores. When I stopped using the product and went back to another mineral SPF all problems started to correct themselves, so I know it was this. The nail in the coffin was that it is nowhere near tinted enough for my complexion, and I am not a very darkly complected African American woman.

Soft but doesn’t crease too much on eyelids
I tend to prefer chemical SPF for my face and body, but US chemical formulas sting my eyes. I use mineral SPF sticks on my eyelids to prevent stinging, and prefer tinted options to prevent reverse racoon eyes (or weird white lines during creasing) from white cast.This one is a little softer and more emollient than Salt & Stone, but doesn’t crease as much as MyChelle Dermaceuticals. The three are very similar in color, but this is darkest by a hair. I have fairly light skin and this is a really good match for my eyelids; it does crease a little over the course of time, but the lines of gathered product don’t show up as much against my skin color.I don’t love the transparent packaging because you can see the stick inside the tube and it makes it look messy, but that’s a purely cosmetic complaint that doesn’t affect how the product actually performs.I’m pretty sure I will buy this again.

Good but greasy. Leaves a greasy feel on the skin, and with peculiar odor.
