Good for large showers
These are very potent and have been lovely to enjoy in the shower. We have a large, open shower and many steamers just aren’t scented strongly enough to be smelled in the space. These, however, are perfect!

4/6 just smell like lemon. I can understand that lemon grass and lemon leaves are very powerful scents but when the citric acid overwhelms the smells on the actual packaging as they do in the sweet dreams pack it might be a quality control issue.

I only have experience with eucalyptus-scented steamers, so I was excited to see this 24-count variety pack from Lather Valley. As the description states, the box contains 6 individually sealed packs, each containing 6 steamers of their scent profile. My favourites thus far have been ‘stress relief’ (lemony citrus) and ‘calm mind’ (sweet but woodsy).They are very simple to use – unwrap the steamer, place it on your shower floor, and enjoy. In terms of effectiveness, they do not necessarily “steam” but slowly emit fragrance as they evaporate. I was hoping for a bit more steam, but they do the job. One steamer lasts the length of an average shower, plus the scent lingers for a while. I enjoy it. It elevates your shower experience – just that extra step of care. Perhaps it’s a placebo effect, but I do feel relaxed after use.They are a bit pricey at $39.99 (per 6 packs with 24 steamers total). They are a great option for gifting/stocking stuffers, as the six packs could stand as products for sale on their own (works out to just under $7/pack). Disclaimer: My box (the one that holds the six packs) came ripped and generally a little beat up. I planned to keep all packs so I can look past it, but if I had planned to gift the set, I would have been disappointed.

I could smell these right through the packaging, which was absolutely mangled. Given that’s the product packaging, not the shipping box, I have no idea what happened there. It was ripped and torn and squashed but luckily, the individual packaging was intact.Still for aromatherapy these seemed strong and rather artificial/chemical-smelling. Would have preferred something more subtle.
