Great Product for Senior Dogs
These dental chews work very well for my senior dog. She has had some dental issues, and has trouble with the typical dental chews. Very happy I found these for her. I recommend!

QUICK results!
I purchased these to try on my 8 year old mini schnauzer. I have purchased the Greenies brand from the grocery store with no major notice of cleaning. For years. I couldnât believe my eyes, but the VERY FIRST time I gave her one of these it knocked the largest piece of plaque of one of her incisors! AMAZING product! And, she has a GI issue that she eats special dogfood for and this didnât upset her system. So happy my sister in law turned me on to this brand. Iâve used both the eye cleaner and the ear cleaner with very pleasant results also. Very thankful! Satisfied customers!

Pretty Good but too big
Mine didn’t arrive crushed like others have. They look like little green puffs and are crunchy, making it easy for my older dog to chew. My biggest gripe is that they are made too big for my Shih Tzu to eat a whole one. I have to break it into pieces which causes a big, crumbly mess. I also have 2 other small dogs and they also needed it to be broken. It would nice if they made some half the size for smaller dogs. I doubt the dachshund on the package would be able to put a whole one in its mouth.

My dogs weren’t excited, but we tried
I have 2 Sr small dogs and the Rat Terrier (16) had a hard time getting the chew in her mouth. So eventually had to break it into pieces which she buried. My Dachshund wanted nothing to do with them I also tried the regular chews for small dogs and those were a hit.

Completely pulverized
This bag arrived completely pulverized. It was sent in a shipping bag and it was completely smashed, ruining these treats. The other chews in the shippment were fine but these seem to be too fragile to even withstand shipping. Shaking the bag the pieces seem to be similar to breakfast cereal consistency. The bag is the same size as the protection+ chews but only 4oz (vs 12oz for the other) for the same price. That being said I was glad to pay that price for a treat especially for seniors. My old man only has 2 teeth but those teeth are good and I want to keep them that way. Very disappointed that these arrived in this condition.

No more stinky breath!
I do my best to maintain mouth health for my 2 elderly dachshunds. BUT they hate tooth brushing, AND it is hard to get a finger into their long, narrow muzzles. They are mini minis-one of them is only about 6 lbs…and feisty… I have tried lots of solutions including specially sized tooth brushes and other brands of chews. I think this product is the winner. They each get one treat which looks like a super-sized cheese puff,(except it’s green,) after dinner. In just under 2 weeks, their breath is dramatically better. My older girl, 14, has had really bad breath, even after professional cleanings, and now I can go nose to nose with her, and tolerate her kisses without running to wash my face. I started with two a day, after breakfast and dinner. I scaled back because the packages are small and a little pricey, but if I must, I’ll go back to two treats per day for their benefit. As long as their vet tells me they are in good dental condition, I will continue this treat routine.

Not a good buy
When I received these, half the bag was in small pieces. Did know how much to give her since it was powder and pieces.

These are quite different from the regular brushless toothpaste itemsThey are quite light and seem porous and sound crunchy. My dogs havenât got used to them.

Works and my dog liked them but the price is just ludicrous. — there are much better options available.

The dental treat is so hard that my senior dog won’t even touch it. The treat is hard as rock and not “senior friendly” at all. Big waste of money.
