Best Lotion EVER!
I’ve recently started trying to switch to more natural products but lotion hasn’t been an option till now. From my experience natural body lotions are more liquid than solid and therefore hard to put on. This is not the case with the Alba Very Emollient. This lotion is thick and smells divine. I look forward to using it daily. I’ve never looked forward to using lotion. The consistency is thick and the smell is a mixture of floral and almond. It goes on easy and is not greasy at all. That’s my complaint about many lotions. It’s either easy on and doesn’t work or it’s too thick and greasy. This lotion is just right. I don’t think I’ll ever buy any other lotion. My skin is soft, no razor bumps, no dry elbows, no ashy skin, just soft and supple like lotion should be. This lotion also has AHA in it which is an anti aging skin smoothing product and so I tried this lotion on my face(I have dry skin) and it didn’t break me out, or make me an oil slick. It was gentle enough for the face too!A surprising side effect. I don’t know if this is normal but I use this after I shave. The hair is growing back slower and slower since I’ve started using it. It didn’t say anything about this when I bought it. But no joke since I’ve been using this daily I only have to shave my legs once a week. Then it’s barely stubble. I don’t know if Alba meant for this product to do that but I love it. I’ve never loved a side effect before either lol

This lotion does a great job battling dry skin … here are some things to know
My wife and really like using this lotion. This product is great for keeping our skin healthy, moist, and smooth year round. Alba Botanica is fairly viscous and the only issue that you may have is removing all the lotion using the bottle pump when the bottle is near empty. You’ll likely have to remove the bottle pump and tap out the lotion at the bottom of the bottle until it’s empty. My wife doesn’t mind doing this, however, I think it’s a bit of a hassle.We ended up buying this jar like container in the following link ( https://amzn.to/4hr5u1Q ). When the original Alba lotion bottle is near empty, we take off the pump and turn the bottle upside down and just let the lotion slowly drain into this smaller bottle.While the Alba Botanica lotion is very good and we use it all the time, I also like a custom oil mixture that my wife blends for me to use especially in colder months.She mixes up one part jojoba oil ( https://amzn.to/40vF34b ) and one part sweet almond oil( https://amzn.to/40qYj2S ) and then adds a few drops of essential oils like frankincense ( https://amzn.to/3PQQRcr ), oregano ( https://amzn.to/4h6wALW) and geranium (https://amzn.to/4aD1iKb).I really like how this oil mixture feels on my skin in the colder months and it keeps my skin looking healthy and vibrant. Of course, you can make your own oil mixture, but this formula is simple and it works great.

Great lotion.
I have been using this lotion for years now and wouldn’t use anything else. I add pure coconut oil to the lotion and my skin soaks it in. I’m 75 and my skin feels and looks like I’m in my 50s. Some of the best ingredients you’ll find in skin care products.

I am delighted to find this item again, as I had used it before. As I’ve aged, my skin has become so dry, flaky and soemtimes sore. Alba really does go into the skin to nourish it and keep it soft for longer than other moisturisers, some of which have a tendency to just sit on top of the skin. The fabulous 32oz bottle is very good value for money, and believe me I’ve tried a few. This is the best I’ve found.

It sinks in, rich but not greasy, really moisturizes rather than sitting on the skin. no heavy scents or perfumes. Just a very good product.
