My Favorite Body Wash
I love Alaffia products, especially the body wash. It contains shea butter and prevents wintertime flakiness and itching. My feet and heels don’t dry out and crack, either. I don’t need to use lotion after a hot shower. I particularly like that it does not contain SLS, as I am allergic to it and it is difficult to find products that don’t contain it. I mostly use the lavender fragrance but the vanilla-mint is also nice. I wish they had a wider range of fragrances because I would use them all.

I absolutely adore this body wash! It smells so good and is refreshing after a long day. I will definitely be purchasing a much bigger bottle. This body wash lathers up really well and is very helpful to promote relaxation before bed.One thing I will say is this small bottle isnât worth the price I purchased it for. I wouldâve have reaped a better deal buying a larger bottle. Aside from price, excellent product.

Defective. But amazing body wash!
The pump was defective. I could not even get it open with pliers.Edit: I was sooo annoyed with the defective pump, but I cut open the bottle (lol) and I love this body wash so I have to change my review. Great smell, lather, AND this gently helps with my minor back/chest acne I get in the hot months when I’m super sweaty! I love not having to use a harsh acne body wash in the summer now!

perfect for sensitive skin
perfect body wash- my skin gets so flakey and ashy that once i started using this natural wash, my skin bettered and although it has a strong smell, you get over it and itâs not as bad as some karens here make it seem.

Natural ingredients and good lather
I like that this body wash contains all natural ingredients and doesnât leave my skin feeling dry. The smell is very lightly scented which is good for some. However, I prefer strongly scented products. This doesnât leave my skin feeling particularly moisturized but it provides a good balance to where my skin isnât dry and itchy if I donât use lotion. Overall, I really like this body wash. It has a good lather and leaves me feeling clean without drying out my skin.

Allergic Allergic!!!!
Omg, this stuff slowly gave me an allergic reaction. I hate it. I had to go to my doctor. I was prescribed some cream to put all over my body. It started out with two small pimples on my arm. They eventually got bigger and turned into a rash. Now the rashes and sores are all over my body. My back, stomach, butt, pelvic area, breasts and legs. I have been itching as well. I take Benadryl for the itching. My doctor said I had an allergic reaction to the body wash. The soap isnât that great and is not soapy. I donât know what ingredient is in this to make my body react like this. I definitely sent this back, Iâll keep looking for a more natural soap. This product doesnât agree with my body chemistry.***Update**I ended up going to a dermatologist, I felt my PCP wasnât exactly sure what my real issue was. Plus sheâs not a skin doctor. Although, I think she was on the right track about the cream she prescribed to me. The dermatologist told me he didnât think it was due to the body wash. He examined me because mind you. I had small bumps and patches all over my body. I ordered this product in early March and started using it right away. My skin was fine before I started using this. I was looking for something more natural. I never ever had my skin act this way after using a body wash. I canât say without a doubt this body wash was a contributing factor to my problem. I feel like my doctor canât say either degree or no degree. He diagnosed me as having pityriasis rosea. Iâve never heard of this before. Doctors donât know how someone gets it. He mentioned people get it around the spring time. I was prescribed same cream my PCP prescribed, just a bigger tube. I also have to take medication for three weeks. Maybe the body wash didnât cause the rosea. Maybe an ingredient in the body wash triggered something. I canât say with certainty but I was fine before using the body wash. For this reason I will leave the one star since my experience turned out to be what it was. I said before I will stay clear of these products altogether.
