Low toxic ingredients + absorbs fast
Iâm in a using non-toxic products phase in my life since I got sick almost 1.5 years ago. I want to replace everything we use in my house. Everything has something thatâs toxic to your body.
I bought this repair cleansing gel because it didnât have any listed ingredients flagged by EWG or Clearya. If flagging of the ingredients didnât appear, I searched the ingredients one by one in the ewg site to ensure it was in the âgreenâ zone
The scent is light, not overpowering. The texture is soft. It absorbs nicely onto clean skin. I like this one because it doesnât have toxic ingredients. I just wish you get more for what you pay. It is moisturizing but I feel that I needed a bit more moisture.
Not a fan of potassium sorbate. Itâs considered toxic.

Amazing moisturizer!
I have very dry skin from Trenton. I tried LaRoche Posay and it didnât really do anything; and it burned when I applied it. This had great reviews that mentioned people who also were on Trenton had luck with this. I luckily got it on sale; and it has been amazing! It is soothing and no burn after Trenton, and I do not have to continually reapply it. It does not have a strong smell, and has done an amazing job moisturizing my dried out skin. I will definitely buy this again.

Disappointed
I’ve used Acure products for a while but I’ve been disappointed with the Hydrating Plant Ceramide lotion in particular because it tends to clog my pores and feels really heavy especially in the summer. This may be a better product for the colder weather. I also used to love all the different lovely scents they had in their lotions but now they all smell the same, similar to Eucerin, which is not the most appealing smell to me. I am not sure if they were trying to appeal to people who hate fragrances but in the end, they no longer appeal to me due to the lack of lovely smells.

I am 43 and thankfully have pretty even skin (not too oily and not too dry for context if this helps anyone. )

I do get red in the cheeks easily.
I have been looking for an affordable facial lotion thatâs gentle, not greasy and more natural. Iâve been using this for about 2-3 weeks daily, just a little bit. While my redness always comes and goes due from food, weather, just existing, etc.. this hasnât made the redness worse. I kinda feel like itâs made it better.
