It works, but what’s REALLY in it?
I usually don’t review products like this until I have used them for 30 days, but I decided to do this review now because I have decided not to use this product on a daily basis, rather only when needed. The two pack arrived super quick. Both of the jars had safety seals under the lid, covering the product and preventing spillage/product loss. The jars came in boxes which contained a batch #, manufacturing date and expiration date (12/06/27). Both of the boxes arrived completely sealed (together) in plastic. The ingredients are printed on the box and the list is nice and short. The reported ingredients are-Absorbic Acid, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Ubiquinone and Kaolin. There are a few things that jumped out to me immediately.Absorbic Acid, AKA Vitamin C is the primary ingredient here. It can help keep gums healthy and strong, it can reduce inflammation and it can also has antioxidant properties. However, too much absorbic acid on your teeth can actually erode your tooth enamel, which you can’t get back. I am not saying that this is unsafe, but I am saying that too much can actually damage your teeth, so don’t go crazy. The other thing that was questionable to me- What is making this powder purple? There is nothing in the ingredients that is purple, nor would lend a purple color to this powder. It makes me very suspicious that a very prominent part of this formula is not included in the ingredients. When you look at other purple products, they all have some type of red and blue dyes listed, but there is nothing like that here. I just wonder what else is NOT listed.Brushing with this is not terribly unpleasant. The kaolin (clay) is quite soft and doesn’t get all gloppy in your mouth. It has a nice peppermint flavor that isn’t hot or spicy, but manageable.I can see why it works too. There is a soft grit to the powder which is slightly more abrasive that toothpaste typically is. That grittiness helps break down and brush away some of the surface staining. Then, If we are to trust the ingredients that are listed, the absorbic acid (vitamin C) can also help in breaking down some of the tougher stains too (but too much/overuse will also break down your enamel). Finally, if you look at a color wheel, purple is directly across from yellow, making them complimentary colors. What the purple does in this case though (or when blondes use purple shampoo), is it neutralizes the yellow tones, making them less noticeable. That’s why you don’t see these powders made in a cool turquoise, green or red color- the purple is specifically chosen to conceal the yellow.I am a stickler about ingredients and the transparency of labeling them, so part of me didn’t even want to use this at all. I did try it though, and I’m still alive. I also noticed a slight difference in the brightness of my teeth, which made me happy. I don’t want to do permanent damage, so I will use this when needed- like before a big event where my smile needs to look great.

Oralhoe
Ingredients they claim on Amazon are not what is listed on the box at all. Also the name on the box is Oralhoe. From looking up the ingredients names that are on the box, it sounds like itâs just baking soda and 4 different preservatives.I will not be trying this and will be requesting to send it back, if they want it back.

Amazing!
I was skeptical but gave it a try and it is awesome! My teeth are whiter and they aren’t sensitive like other whiteners

Teeth
I don’t know anything about the teeth restoration properties of this product, but I can say it doesn’t make my teeth sensitive. The powder is purple and just like artists/cake decorators know to add a little purple to an off white/yellow, it will make it seem like a brighter white. I’m not sure if the teeth whitening is because of that concept, the purple making teeth look whiter or if it’s a combo of this powder and my toothpaste, but something is going on because my teeth look whiter. Try it.

Not sure it works
I’ve been using this for awhile now every time I brush, and honestly I can’t tell if it’s done anything… I don’t feel like my teeth got whiter but I do feel like my mouth feels fresh and clean after use. It’s easy to use, I just dip my wet tooth brush into the powder and then just brush for a few minutes then rinse. No real taste, just a very faint mint. After I finish these jars, I dont think I will reorder.
