DermaHarmony 2% Pyrithione Zinc Body and Facial Soap is ideal for relief or itching, redness, irritation, scaling and flaking associated seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff – particularly on the face and head. The soap is safe for daily use by adults and children. We’ve kept the ingredients as natural as possible (see ingredients list below).ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: 2% Pyrithione Zinc (also known as Zinc Pyrithione, ZPT, ZNP, ZNPT, ZINCPT).
INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Saponified Oils (from palm and coconut), Water, Glycerin (from vegetable oil), Titanium Dioxide (a natural mineral), Oatmeal, Olive Oil, Vitamin E, Table Salt, Salt of Pentetic Acid.
DIRECTIONS: For best results use daily or as directed by your doctor. Work up a later using warm water and gently massage into affected areas. Leave in contact with skin for at least 30 seconds. Rinse well. Use on the affected skin in place of your regular soap. In case of accidental ingestion, contact a physician or poison control center immediately. Because some customers experience a drying of their skin when using this soap, start with one application and then gradually work-up to daily application. You may increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. You may follow cleansing with the natural moisturizer of your choosing.

Clears Skin of Breakouts | Very Drying | May not be suitable for Sensitive Skin

I’ve tried many facial cleaners, including expensive name brand cleansers that have been recommended by a dermatologist. Nothing has been able to help my sensitive skin, and would only irritate and dry out my skin.My father researched the best skincare ingredients to combat breakouts, and he came across this facial bar.I’ve been using this facial bar for about 2 years and I have noticed a difference in my skin. My skin is clearer and my breakouts are not as severe. For stubborn pimples, I use Mighty Patch in conjunction with the soap to help get rid of it quicker, and it work wonders.One thing I would like to make note of: I have very sensitive skin. My cheeks are the most sensitive area of my face. This facial cleanser can be very drying. When I first used it, I could only use it twice a week because it would dry out my skin, and my cheeks were so sensitive that it would burn to use the cleanser or when I would apply moisturizer. Now I can use the cleanser everyday with no issues, but my skin still dries out, so I recommend using a moisturizer immediately after use.Another thing I like about this bar is that it lasts me about 2 months, with everyday use.Overall, I am very pleased with this facial cleanser bar. It helps keep my skin clear of breakouts, but when I do have breakouts, I use Mighty Patch along with the soap, and it helps get rid of it quicker. It can be very drying, so using a good moisturizer after use is what I recommend. I would recommend giving this bar a try, and I will continue buying it.

Nice Shampoo bar
Being a licensed hair stylist I was skeptical of a bar shampoo and not a name brand shampoo. My psoriasis is acting up and spreading even though I take meds for the psoriasis. I have a new look on shampoo bars. It has helped the areas that I had breakouts and they are slowly decreasing. Will be buying again.

I have seb derm on my face and this is the only soap that keeps my flakes under control, not even the medicated wash the doctor prescribed. Works best if you layer it and leave for 2 mins. It leaves your skin very dry but you can apply an Oil-control or light moisturizer to make it better, and only if your dermatitis can handle a moisturizer.

Unexpected hormonal changes
I bought this soap for my sensitive scalp and thinning hair and it did bring me welcomed relief. But slowly I started noticing irregularities with my menstrual cycle. I have re-ordered multiple times over the course of six months or so and I’m just now putting 2 and 2 together. About two months after using, I noticed my periods were heavier and lasted a day or two longer. Then month 3, I got two periods within the same month two weeks apart. Two months later my period was fluctuating one day spotting next day heavy and lasted 9 days compared to 5-6 days the norm. Weirdly I haven’t had my period since Jan 16, 2023. It’s now march and I’m not pregnant and bloodwork was drawn. Apparently my prolactin levels are low. Do a Google search for the following: “zinc pyrithione + prolactin”. I should mention, I did start using this soap for my daily head to toe showers. It was just easier instead of stopping mid way to switch to another. It’s scent free and it does leave a white film of sorts around my fingers and stomach area. Almost looked ashy every time I came out of the shower. But anyway, the soap does as described, but using it effected my cycle. I’m early 30s, AA female and no health issues.

It BURNED
I was instructed to purchase this bar soap by my dermatologist for my hormonal and bacterial acne.I had no makeup on just SFP. I used an oil cleanse 1st and then lathered the bar soap in my hands.OMG it stung so much after about 2 seconds of contact time. I had to breathe super deep and remain calm to grab a washcloth, run it under cool water and remove the soap.Iâll continue to use the soap but at 1-2 times a week at 2-3 second contact time.UPDATE: it still severely strings my eyes even I donât use it anywhere near them & apply a tiny bit of soap. Iâm going to try the Vanicream Z bar next.Butâ¦I do have to say after using this soap 1-2 mornings a week + the Cerave Foaming Acne facial cleanser with BP 3-5 mornings a week + a ton of SPF & then the Kose Softymo Speeding Cleansing Oil @ Amazon $14 + my Curology products for cleansing, moisturizer & Tretinoin have completely cleared up my hormonal and bacterial acne in just 8 months!
