Amazing- worked the first night!
I was skeptical, not going to lie. However, this is was the next morning! I woke up early, feeling rested, and felt it helped me detoxâ¦a little too (if you know what I mean), and I feel less bloated. I am excited to try them again tonight and see how I do over the next few weeks!

Haven’t had any effects on me
These foot pads are easy to put on your feet. The pads definitely have a black color when taken off in the morning. The smell is kind of smoky and not bad. There is a sticky residue after you take off the pads. It’s easily taken care of with a wet wash cloth–not horrible.I’ve been using them for 2 weeks. I’ve slept well but no better than before using the pads. I haven’t noticed I have more energy or have been more relaxed. For me, these don’t seem to have any effect–good or bad. I will continue using them and edit this if anything changes. Not sure how to rate so I’ll choose 3 stars.

Works
They do seem to work. I usually wake up at 3am, then force myself back to sleep. These help me stay asleep.

The jury is still out, but these might actually improve sleep quality
Iâve always been a terrible sleeper, so unless a product contains obviously dangerous ingredients (and I always Google the ingredients before ordering), Iâm willing to try just about any of the countless natural/alternative sleep aids. Iâve tried all the usual suspects â melatonin, valerian, magnesium, etc. â and have had mixed results; none of them worked consistently (and some didnât work at all).I had never heard of bamboo detox foot pads. The product page and packaging list 5 ingredients â bamboo vinegar, bamboo charcoal, wormwood, tourmaline, and VC (which seems to mean Vitamin C). Unfortunately, there is no formal list of ingredients, so there is no way of knowing if the 5 listed ingredients are the *only* ingredients or how much of each the product contains, but I took it on faith that there was nothing dangerous in the mix.All the âofficialâ medical websites say there is no scientific evidence that these patches work (one well-known site called them âdubiousâ), but I couldnât find any claims that they might actually be harmful. The scientific literature basically says that your body has its own natural detoxing process: your liver (which, I learned, is the largest organ in your body), which is a âpowerful filterâ that doesnât need to be âcleansedâ (except by avoiding overdoing sugary drinks, fatty and fried foods, and alcohol). The literature also says that the foot pads change color not because they are removing toxins from your body, but because they contain wood vinegar, which darkens when it comes into contact with sweat from your feet. But since my goal was to get better sleep rather than detoxing my body, I figured it couldnât hurt to give these pads a try.The results have been . . . intriguing.I have used these pads for two nights in a row. Perhaps it is purely coincidental, but both nights, I slept noticeably better than I have in a while. I use both a smart watch and a smart ring to track my sleep, and my sleep scores have been better the nights I used these pads â I slept a little longer, woke up a little less, and had better REM sleep.Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. I intend to keep using these foot pads to find out. For the price (currently $24.99 – 20% coupon = $19.99 for 50 nightsâ worth), itâs a pretty inexpensive experiment.4 optimistic stars â for now.
