Good makeup to experiment with – not the highest quality or blendable
Fairly decent value with a lot of neutral cheek shades and eye shimmers for testing what looks good on you if you are starting out with makeup. The shimmers are delicate and did not transport well. They are decently blendable and can be applied best with your finger. The matte cheek colors were patchy and hard to blend and were VERY similar to one another. I ended up using some of the cheek colors as eyeshadow mattes instead. Overall a pass for experienced makeup users – focus on one thing (e.g., shimmers for the eyes or a few pans of very different shades of cheek color) to get the most bang for the buck. This is good for those just starting their makeup journey and not wanting to spend a lot to try. 🙂

Affordable eye palette
I am 40 yro, light to medium (closer to medium), prefer neutral to pink undertones and I wanted to try this contour palette because I have no contour products right now. I used to have the Lorac contour palette but once I used up my shades I decluttered. I found that this 10-Colors Highlighter and Contour Kit is more an eye palette for me because I see no contour shades that suit me, and the shades that could work as highlight are too icey. Also, a lot of the shades have a satin finish which I donât use for contouring. So, I used the palette in the eyes, and it was OK. A nice neutral palette but unfortunately it faded quickly on me. It’s only 7.99 so a good deal for someone with less oily lids.

Worked well, great variety
I like the large pan size of all 10 shades. The ones I used went on easily and there is a very good variety of colors available for a range of different skin colors. I think this would make a great addition to anyone’s makeup set. I did not experience much fall out from using a brush and it blended well with my fingers.

Better quality at the dollar store
I tried to give these a fighting chance and used my moisturiser, serum, SPF and Primer before swatching. These are dusty, chalky, low pigment powders with little variation in the blushers, not buildable, as it flies away as fallout dust.If you’re paler than I am and not Olive complexioned, they might show up better.There are no contour shades in the contour palette, there’s a deep Sienna, a warm Chocolate with just enough shimmer to make it not pure chalk, the shimmery “highlighters” are dry and lack any appreciable lustre, even when applied with damp brush. I packed them on without blending to get them to show up for a photo.The White and Pinky Peachy blush shades are very dusty with extreme fallout. They’d make decent matte brightening powder for the undereyes, and the Browns a transition shade to apply a good shimmer over.I applied before making breakfast, set it with a drugstore setting spray, and it’s already faded to nothing.If you’re looking for cheap makeup as “Baby’s first palette”, these are way too pricey to waste money on when you can get far better quality from the dollar store/drugstore bargain bins for so much less.I have been given this product and tested it for review. All opinions are mine.

Really great value for the price
for the price point of these two pallets, I am not going to complain too much. Are they high-end eyeshadows and blushes? Of course not but for under $14 for two big pallets this is just a great value. I love the colors. They are totally my jam all these nice warm shades. I would definitely recommend using an eye primer when you use the shadow ones and thereâs a great variety of colors in there as well. I probably will help the shadows. Stay stay on longer and also help with the pigmentation. The blushes are really nice. I just take a big brush and I sweep it over the whole blush palette and then apply to my cheeks. Itâs a great flush of color. I also use the blushes as eyeshadow as well because thereâs some really pretty colors in there. That would look nice on the eyes. Iâd kind of ignore the thing where it says donât use on the eyes because there are other makeup pellets that say that and theyâre actually eyeshadows in and their ones from the USA so Iâm not too concerned about it, but please take that inconsideration and do whatâs best for yourself.Other than that, Iâve got nothing but really good praise for these eyeshadows and blush sets

Not great quality, but good for teens
This 10-Colors Highlighter and Contour Kit: 2 In 1 Face Highlighter Contour Makeup Kit – Buildable Contour Powder Palette – Waterproof Long-Lasting Highlighter Palette is an interesting item.There are plenty of colors, and something for every skin tone, for sure.The makeup itself is not of the best quality, as it smears and breaks when using. However, the colors are good and work well as a highlighter.I thought you could also use this as an eyeshadow, but the directions say not to use near eyes. So, there’s that.At just 7.99, this is a fun gift for young girls or teens. For my adult skin, not so much.Made in China.Three stars.

Fun, basic makeup set
This is a fun, basic color palette. It comes with 2 cases- a case of eyeshadow, and a case of blush. There are a good variety of colors. Both the blush and eyeshadow go on smoothly and evenly. The eyeshadow has a bit of a sparkle to it. This would be a great gift item. It is currently priced at $13.99, for the set of blush and eyeshadow, in February of 2025.
