This shampoo may not lather into a sudsy snowstorm, but it sure does work. It makes my hair feel clean without being stripped, which is pretty impressive with my EXTREMELY thick & coarse hair. I enjoyed using this shampoo, it made my hair really soft. I will say it does not have a lot of slip so I did end up using a lot to work it in but it smells great and gets the job done.I have 4B/4C hair and this helped manage it in between sets of locs.

This product was very good. I had a lot of frizz in my curls but after using this product, it got rid of most of the frizz I would recommend and I would buy again, but I still have a long time before it runs out.

Conditions Well.
This is probably my favorite curly hair shampoo for its effective washing and conditioning. It leaves my hair clean and feels bouncy. It also strengths my hair with its conditioning ingredients. Leaves my scalp feeling good. This product works well in providing you with great coils leaving your hair moisturized so curls are not frizzy. Comes in a bottle that last, so it is a good value.

I do love the smell of this shampoo & how it makes my hair feel nourished. Itâs very hydrating. However, it made my hair greasy quickly. I usually will go 7 days in between washes but with this shampoo I can only go 3 so unfortunately I will not be using it anymore.

My Son has curly hair. Weâve tried a couple brands. He saw this Shea Moisture on social media so we gave it a try. He loves it & says itâs the best heâs used for his curly hair. He feels it really focused on his curls & his hair feels refreshed & hydrated after a towel dry when heâs ready to use his next product which is actually the Sheaâs Curl Enhancing Smoothie. This shampoo smells like coconut which it should as it has coconut oil to hydrate & protect his hair & reduces breakage. It also has silk protein which smooths his hair for a soft, smooth feel & Neem Oil which controls the frizz adding a nice shine. 3 awesome ingredients in a shampoo! Itâs also sulfate & paraben free which is important with hair products. After reading the story behind how Sheaâs Moisture was started itâs touching. I attached a picture because sometimes we donât always look at whatâs really on the bottle completely. For a 13 ounce bottle the quality of this shampoo & the positive aspects it gives to curly hair the price is worth what I paid. I definitely recommend it & this Iâll continue to purchase for my Sonâs curly hair. If heâs happy Iâm happy! 🙂

This is my second time using this product from the brand and I was impressed enough to purchase it a second time. My hair type is 3c/4a, it’s really thick and just above shoulder height when it is curly. I find that when using this product along with the matching shampoo, after showering, it made my hair feel so silky and almost oily so that it didn’t actually feel like I needed to put leave in conditioner.This time i’m using it alone with a different brand of conditioner (cheaper) I was hoping to get the same results however it didn’t. It just felt like any shampoo that when rinsed it from my hair it made it feel sort of wirey to touch.Pros of the product- Makes my hair feel moisturised without the combination of any other products- It smells amazing and also leaves my hair smelling amazing- The bottle itself makes it easy to apply itCons of the product- Its small, I used up 1/4 of it in one wash- It is expensive; the bottle is small considering the priceI gave this product 5 starts because my curls are the healthiest they have ever been when I use this product but ONLY along with the shea moisture conditioner aswell.

I live and breathe for this shampoo and conditioner. I truly believe that this shampoo and conditioner is what transformed my curls and brought them back to life. If youâre on the fence, try it. It is worth every cent. I have very thirsty hair, and a lot of it. Itâs also quite long. I always double shampoo on wash day to make sure Iâm getting rid of any product build up, and then leave the conditioner in for about 5 minutes. It also smells so so good and leaves your hair soft, bouncy and with the curls looking their best!
