I love Gold Label! 🖤🧡 If you follow the directions you will have wonderful results. What I love the most about Gold Label is that it straightens my hair (super straight) and still leaves a natural look as if my hair was naturally straight, with shine, body and bounce. It doesn’t thin my hair. Gold Label keeps my hair with a beautiful fullness and straight at the same time.What I mean is some straighteners will leave your hair with a sad, flat and an obvious straightened look but Keratin Research leaves my hair glossy and healthy. Not to mention that I don’t have to worry about frizz when the weather is humid and that’s so very helpful. It makes it so much easier to manage my hair. My natural hair is very wavy close to the roots and less wavy in the ends but it doesn’t have a definite shape. Gold label makes my hair super straight and smooth. Don’t skip any steps and you’ll get an amazing result. I recommend it to everyone who wants a straight and healthy look and convenience in their everyday lives.

Works well but will irritate eyes and respiratory system
Before applying this product My hair was 3c-4a and fairly natural (aside from the henna treatments which helped for hair growth but screwed up my texture causing my hair became more coily and tangly and dry).My hair has always refused (to the bitter end) to be tamed to the extent I sometime feel it is the most resistant hair in the world (and should be researched). Everytime I would try to straighten it it would become frizzy and poofy before the days end. To no avail, no matter what I did to combat the frizziness and poof nothing would work. That is until I tried this product.DISCLAIMER & Please read my details on the product: This product is harsh and I am not sure of the health implications but have a strong feeling I’m taking risks using this.Product Experience/Outcome(Note: I’ve used it twice, overlapping usage which may explain the current state of my hair…)First time I used it (August 2018): it didn’t really take due to me not letting the product saturate/rest in my hair (for the time specified in the directions) after applying it and I also didnt use a 450F heat setting when flat ironing (I was scared of heat damage).The second time I used it (October 2018): I applied it and let it sit in my hair for at least 30-45min before I proceeded to blow dry and straighten it. And I made sure I straightened it at the 450F setting. The results were amazing (AH-MAY-ZING). My hair was so pin-straight I became scared of how straight my hair had become, anticipating it to completely fall out thinking I may have over processed it. Currently my hair is slowly returning to its old curly and poofy way, kinda (it may never fully return to its fully curly self and sadly I’m okay with that, as I really didn’t like my hair previously). I project The product is due to fully wear out by next month or so and also I can tell based on the return of some poof and having more shedding when I wash and brush my hair. Also My hair feels weaker and is easier to break. I noticed the easier to break feeling a month after applying the second wave of the treatment (so it could be due to that overlap possibly).It became enough of a concern that after 6 weeks from the second treatment, to combat the hair fall and increasingly noticeable damage, I got an Olaplex treatment (which actually helped lessen hair fall for about two weeks and my hair become sleeker and shinier, too). The olaplex has worn off as I need to buy the weekly olaplex no3 treatment to follow-up.Also worth noting, I am not a styling junky and don’t tend to straighten my hair daily (I maybe straighten my hair once every other month, if that) so I wouldn’t fully attribute the damage to consistent heat damage.Product Details***It contains formaldehyde which will irritate the h-e-l-l (HELL) out of you respiratory system and mucous membranes.***NOTE: The only way I could apply this is with my windows open on a cold fall day wearing lab goggles and a nose mask (needed a better quality nose mask*) without the above you will not be able to see as it burns your eyes and it will be hard to breathe as it burns your respiratory system.It is not a cream and looks like a tan-ish custard (akin to any styling custard)Enough product to definitely get more than 2-4 uses out of (especially if you have mid-shoulder length hair)

Yes it’s smell horrible don’t use it with closed windows or if you are sensitive. But the product makes your hair super soft and silky. My hair is very curly and after just 1 time it was smooth. After a few days my scalp become very dry and flaky tho. But to me it was worth it. Ps absolutely never use this around kids when applying

It’s a good strong product, who is sensitive to the fumes this is what it is and You suffer for beauty. I’m a hairdresser and i was working with keratin treatment alot and I have tips for making the results for the best outcome.(Don’t forget to make a allergy check especially if you are sensitive to hair dye, sculp problems can be also problematic. Me personally didn’t had any reaction with this product just a little tearing.)- After washing your head with the special shampoo you blow dry your hair and straight it with a brush and go over it with a flat iron.- style and lay you’re hair the way you want it to be. applay the product generously while wearing a mask with a brush and hand with gloves, start from the bottom using clips for each level, and comb it well with the product.- you wait with the product on the head at least 45 min or when the product is feeling dry on the head, comb it before you start with the blow dry.- now you need to blow dry it in a ventilated era, it you don’t have this just open a window and do it when you’re facing the window. The best way to use a blow-dry built in brush it makes less fumes. Start to strait your hair from the bottom using clips to separate every level. And don’t forget to wear a mask, You need that the hair to be feeling dry. And if you sweat at this process please let yourself cool down before the next stage.-now you need to section the hair in the middle and still keep the hair line as you want it to be, and clip each side. Start working in small sections with a flat iron 8 times each section and don’t be shy on the Roots, start from the bottom until the wanted hair line. This stage have the least fumes so you can do where ever you want.(The hair will be very greasy until you wash it so don’t worry).-the finel stage is to wait 3+ days for the product cures into the hair. Every day pass on each section with a flat iron to help the product cure well. And in the end wash your hair only sulfate free products.* Best times to do it right after you dye or bleach your hair because the hair cuticle is very open and very absorbing.* Pregnant and breastfeeding are not allowed to do it!. Or if you are on your period it not going to give you the best results.*Don’t let your hair near water or strong humidity and clip your hair up, while the 3 days are curing.My hair feels and look amazing after this product, I have freezy thin curly hair.
