For the new stinky dog
We use it between dog baths and during brushings for our doodles. Dogs don’t mind it and it has a mild scent which isn’t overpowering.

Freshens, Softens, and Conditions
I love the Hempz brand and am excited that they offer products for my pup too! I am not a huge fan of the pineapple coconut scent, but the scent is very light and not overpowering. The sprays helps to freshen, soften, and condition my dogs fur!

Smells nice and moisturizes
Smells goodâtropical and sweet. Easy to spray. It has a thin consistency and feels slightly oily. When sprayed on my pup, I found it best to massage it into her skin with my fingertips to get it to her skin instead of sitting in top of her fur. My dog tried to lick it a little but thankfully it says itâs non toxic. It definitely feels like it would be moisturizing, although my dog doesnât have particularly dry skin. I left her smelling nice and fresh and the scent lasted at least a couple days each time we used it. Note that it rubbed off on her blanket and on the couch, especially if we didnât massage it into her skin well. It didnât stay or anything, but definitely left it scent. Overall, it does exactly what it claims to and I could see that it would be useful if your dog had dry skin or was often stinky.

Use it On Your Doggo or Yourself
To be honest, I ordered this thinking it was for humans, however, my boyfriend has a dog. When River isn’t vomiting from stress on the floor of my living room (voicing her disapproval that I don’t have a dog of my own), she is a delight, but a bit stinky. This is never more apparent than in the summer.Hempz is a trusted brand and primarily a brand for humans. I’m not a fan of buying one product for this and another for that, especially when economic times are difficult. Since so many of us share our food with our pets, it makes even more sense to make products that are safe and reliable for both. Did I spray dog cologne on myself? Yes, but I also sprayed it on sweet River. How else could I tell accurately tell you that it’s moisturizing? Always got your face all up in your pet? Me too, although mine are small and don’t stink much. This is moisturizing, non-toxic, and though this fades fast, I was able to smell some on River, even after 30 minutes. There’s more of a pineapple scent than anything else. When sprayed with it, River didn’t sneeze or try to lick it off. I think it’s a great temporary solution for really hot summer days and trips to the lake or beach that require a bath and something extra. It’s a bit pricey though and there are less expensive options out there. Use it on yourself, use it on your doggo, it’s all good.

Great
I like the smell to the point I was tempted to spray some on myself. It is long lasting and doesnt seem toxic for him. Its a nice quick fix and I think an oldie like my dog deserves to have his own cologne for when he goes out to the park and show off. A bit pricy but one spray is enough. Very pineappley scent more than anything

Love it!
This time of year here in the PNW, we’re subjected to lots of rain. We have four dogs – so naturally, rainy weather also means wet dogs that start to smell between their grooming sessions. The hubby usually picks up some sort of doggy spritzer to help keep the dogs from overpowering us with the ‘wet dog’ smell, and they don’t mind it at all. I snagged this because we’ve used the Hempz brand in the past – the human version, of course – and I figured this one for dogs should be great. It is! The smell reminds me of the coconut version of tanning lotion – like a tropical paradise. ð The dogs don’t mind getting spritzed (except one – she’ll immediately leave the room and go hide as soon as the bottle is brought out…heh!). This smells wonderful, and it keeps that ‘wet dog smell’ out of our nostrils until their grooming appointment arrives. Highly recommend!
