Waterproof specifically does wonders
I have what youâd call horse eyelashes (grows down) but theyâre long and thick so it took me years to find a mascara that didnât weigh them down more, even if i curled them prior to applying. Coming across the exhibitionist uncensored waterproof mascara was a game changer for my makeup routine. Im by no means a makeup guru but i do blowdry my lash curler before putting on mascara and it certainly helps with lifting, but this mascara on its own works well too. I started using it 7 years ago and have not bought another kind of mascara!

Extremely thick formula clumps lashes
I was also very disappointed with this after reading so many positive reviews. This comes out WAY too thick on the wand and results in clumpy lashes even after trying to scrape off excess on edge of tube. Results in clumpy, stumpy looking lashes.

Waterproof, but applicator issues
I am really looking for a waterproof mascara that I can give a 5 star. Why did Covergirl discontinue Marathon?This is almost as good on the waterproof front. And actually better in that I really only need one coat. For evening, maybe a bit additional on just the ends for extra length. 6 hours with next to no smudges. It comes off relatively easily with micellar water or any oil based remover.But, the people who complain about gloopy totally are accurate. When applying, I have to keep wiping the brush as I pull it out, and do it several times to make certain I have half the brush that is “clean”. And make darn certain to use that side of the brush, or there is a mess. Covergirl needs to tighten the bottle neck so more is cleaned off.

This comes out of the tube too heavy – the opening of the tube is too big to remove excess mascara from the brush without A LOT of scraping off excess! Because of that, it tends to go on heavy. It’s easy to brush it out with a spoolie, though, and the mascara looks good after that. Unfortunately, mascara on my lower lashes tends to smudge onto my face throughout the workday. I am very disappointed.

Not a fan
I was surprised by this mascara, because it came with great reviews. But my lashes are not short or sparse, and I didn’t think this gave them any length at all. They also look clumpy, and the very short bristles of the brush don’t do anything for definition. Overall, this mascara is a.major miss for me.

I was so excited to try this mascara but unfortunately itâs by far the worst I have used in my 18 years of makeup use. Iâm lucky enough to have full, long natural lashes but this mascara somehow managed to make them look short and sparse. The wand clumped them all together and was so overloaded with product it was impossible to use- an absolute mess. Thankfully, I had an old mascara wand I could clean and kept this purchase from being a total loss. The formula itself seems great and held up against rain/sweat and all-day wear. No smudging or flaking. If only the wand werenât so awful.

honestly its meh, its a very wet kinda clumpy formula and the wand is usually caked with mascara that you have to scrap off, its not very water proof I usually have black smudges under my eyes after an 6 hour shift and it doesn’t really do anything for my lashes
