I am fastidious about whitening my teeth and I use a multitude of products by various brands. (I love red wine, so daily teeth whitening is a must!) I’ve used Crest Pro “Glamorous White” whitestrips for years and recently switched to the “Sensitive Teeth” version; Crest Whitestrips never let me down but the downside is that you have gum sensitivity as the strips often touch the gums if you place them too close to gumline. With this AuraGlow Extra Strength Whitening Pen at a 9% hydrogen peroxide concentration, there was a shockingly GREAT difference after my FIRST EVER use and it only took 60 seconds!!! I would not believe it had I not tried it myself.Once you get over the drooling (use this while leaning over the sink) since you must keep your mouth open in a wide smile for at least 60-seconds for the gel to set, I rinse the gel out of my mouth (so as not to swallow it). Follow that immediately by an ACT-II flouride rinse to instantly re-mineralize your teeth; my dentist actually advised me to use ACT flouride rinse immediately after teeth-whitening to protect the enamel.I’m happily shocked to see a noticeable result after JUST ONE USE!!! No gum sensitivity whatsoever. I’m hoping the claim that this product is “enamel safe” is 100% true, b/c I will be using this product DAILY at least 2x/day from now on. Wow. Fabulous.

Not as good as Crest 3D White pen
I havenât seen a difference in the whiteness of the tooth I am treating, and I assume that is because this gel doesnât dry and stay put on my teeth. I use a paper towel to dry my teeth first, then apply the gel, then use a blow dryer for 2 min to dry the product onâ¦. But it gone when I check it 5 min later.ALSO the dispensing mechanism for this pen is terrible! You twist it and twist it and nothing comes up. Iâve had to twist it a bunch and then set it down and walk away. 10-15 min later the product is overflowing out of the tip. Who has time to twist it and wait 10 min to see if it was enough clicks? Crest whitening pen only takes seconds for the product to reach the tip – and it dries on as it should. So Iâm done with this brand!

I had high hopes for this item, but have used many time (3 x a day), but see little improvement. Would not recommend. So sorry.

These whitening pens start working almost immediately. Much better than whitening toothpaste or strips. A great value!

Not an effective whitener
This whitener isnât really effective at all. I just donât understand the positive reviews by other people that say it is. Some of my teeth have some brown areas to them and they just sort of stayed that way as much as I used this product so I will keep shopping for something different.

I really like this!
I donât know why people arenât seeing results. But follow the dang directions! I like that itâs easy. I donât like that I am a drooler and I try to keep my mouth open and lips off my teeth as best I can for the minutes this is applied. So, yes gross, but for a few minutes I get a paper towel for my problem. It is what it is. But it works! I like that I can put it where I want, creating less sensitivity problems. And sometimes not eating, or drinking for a while can be a pain. As soon as someone says donât, thatâs when you want to, right? But donât and youâll see results.
