EFFECTIVE. I have been using Mary Ruth’s liquid hair vitamin for about 30 days prior to this so I felt like I already had a head start with some results, but for work trips, I supplemented with these hair care pouches because the bottles of her other products need to remain refrigerated. I have been taking the supplement for two weeks straight and noticed a significant reduction in hair shedding. Again, I was already seeing some results from the other liquid vitamin so it’s possible that the results are just kind of overlapping each other, but anyways continued progress! The pouches mix in wonderfully with my regular protein shakes from Trader Joe’s or over oatmeal with fruit. They are VERY sweet on their own. But I’d prefer to choose a supplement that actually works rather than one that just taste good especially at this price point. While I have taken it on its own my preferences to mix it in with something. Texture is strange too. But again, we are here for results, not a snack lol

The results & the reviews don’t lie
The reviews ain’t lying about the taste and texture. It’s overly sweetened to compensate for the taste of sin in your mouth if eaten straight out the packet. HOWEVER, if you mix it into a protein shake it tastes great and takes away the awful aftertaste from the protein shake. Works like a charm for the hair!! If you can mix your way through the taste it’s worth the reward!

Horrible taste
This is my first Mary Ruth’s product and I’m so disappointed in the taste. It tastes very similar to the glucose drink you need to take for testing. It has that same thick consistency and sour and sweet mix with grittiness. It’s just overall bad. I keep reading their raspberry and peach mango flavor is a lot better, so I’m looking forward to getting that flavor after. I ordered this product in 2024, and have yet to finish them. They’re that bad. I am going to suck it up and finish the product because I paid for it and there’s no way to return them. I’ve tried mixing it in a shot of water to pass it down quickly and also consuming it straight from the pouch.Unfortunately, since I have not been able to finish them before and taken it consistently I do not know if they work or not.

Taste is unbearable
I love Mary Ruth’s multivitamin with Lustriva. The mango flavor is so easy to take. So I decided to venture out into other products because I’m really trying to grow thicker hair. I ordered the maple French toast single serve packages because I could get them same day and I figured I’d have a hair supplement while I wait on Mary Ruth’s Hair Growth Max Liposomal (won’t be delivered for two weeks). Unfortunately, I couldn’t even take the whole serving. I gagged it up because of the taste and texture. It tastes like thick brown sugar syrup with gritty pieces in it. I was so hopeful for these for my hair growth journey but I just can’t handle the taste. I wish since they were single serve packets I could return them or exchange them. I still have my fingers crossed that the taste of the Hair Growth Max Liposomal is okay so I can reap the benefits of Mary Ruth’s hair supplements when I get it in two weeks.
