Thus far-Impressed!
As I went online to reorder another electrolyte replacement powder that I have been using for a few years now, I came across the KEY NUTRIENTS electrolyte replacement powder. As I compared the ingredients to what I had been using before, I found out that ALL of the electrolyte, vitamins & minerals were in higher amounts AND at a much cheaper price [currently, today, 2/24/21 though, the powder I was using before did drop the price to be more comparable with the KEY NUTRIENTS however the advantage that I see is the amounts of the electrolytes, vitamins & minerals-a big advantage for me] to be still for a 90 serving container. I was also impressed with not only the electrolyte ingredients but also the “other” ingredients that go into the mix as well. It is sweetened with stevia leaf extract and spirulina (for the BLUE RASPBERRY flavor) & beet root & beta-carotene (for the CHERRY-POM) gives it the color and as much of a label reader as I am for everything, I was more than willing to give this KEY NUTRIENTS brand a try.I ordered two containers the flavors being BLUE RASPBERRY & CHERRY POM(egranate). Today, 2/24/21 I decided to mix both flavors for my bicycling ride this morning. The attached picture show the CHERRY-POM flavor (red water bottle) & the BLUE RASPBERRY flavor (tinge of blue color water bottle). Mix 1 scoop (provided) into 16 oz of liquid (the bottles in the picture are 16.9oz size but I filled them only up to the neck of the bottle & I already drank some out of each bottle for a taste test). What do I think about the taste? For the BLUE RASPBERRY: First off, I like the tinge of blue color of the powder and with my first sip I first tasted a tartness followed immediately with a sweetness and I could even recognize the flavor being “berryish” Both the tartness and the sweetness were not overwhelming but nicely balanced. Personally, if a drink were to lean one way or another, I would prefer a tartness over a sickening sweetness but like I said, my taste testing of this one was very balanced-not too tart and not too sweet with the sweetness occurring about a second or two after the initial tartness. If you prefer something with an overly sweet taste then mixing this powder with juice or flavored drink would probably suit you. I found this drink to be refreshing and definitely something that I could drink throughout the day if needed. For the CHERRY-POM flavor: a nice light cherry red color and the first thing I noticed, after the color, was the smoothness of the drink. Not gritty or anything of that nature but the best way I could describe it would be “smooth”. The taste sensation is a nice sweetness followed closely with a nice cherry taste! Here again, not overly sweet but just enough so that there wasn’t even a tartness on this one -not sure if there should be anyway (perhaps the pomegranate would tend to give a tartness?) But in any case it was just sweet enough for me without an excessive sweetness; and like I said, I definitely recognized the cherry taste, not overwhelming, but noticeable. I’m not sure if I was able to discern the pomegranate component but definitely the cherry. Perhaps somebody else may be able to distinguish the pomegranate more than me.Now, the BLUE RASPBERRY has 6 electrolytes and 11 vitamins & minerals. The CHERRY-POM has 6 electrolytes and 12 vitamins and minerals. The extra vitamin is the Riboflavin that the BLUE RASPBERRY doesn’t have, for whatever reason I don’t know but shouldn’t really make a difference that it doesn’t have it.In conclusion, I’m very impressed thus far with the look, how easy it is too mix [note: about 40 minutes after mixing and refrigerating, I wanted to take a look at the mixture. I looked at both water bottles, as what is in the picture, and I noticed very fine, I guess one could say, granules, floating around as I swirled the bottles. It doesn’t affect the “smoothness” of the drink and it still doesn’t give it a “grainy” taste but I would suspect that something that has upwards of 20 different ingredients that perhaps a vitamin or mineral or one that is chelated? There are two ingredients that are chelated, selenium & chromium. My guess is , that perhaps a chelation might not necessarily go completely in solution or one of the other vitamins or minerals that may not be so absorbable in the mix but will breakdown better once it’s in the body? In any case, I am not concerned about it as I’ve reviewed every ingredient and approve of the ingredients that are in these powders.]Now the test of actually drinking them during my ride. I suspect that they will do what they are supposed to be doing because of the higher amounts than my previous powder brand had. I could think it would only be better. If I notice a significant change as far as energy level and other measurable changes in my workout as compared to my former brand of powder then I will edit this review. But for now, I’m very impressed and happy to have found this brand of electrolyte replacement powder!

Fave Flavors
Iâve been using this powder for years nowâitâs more cost efficient than the new trendy brands, helps me drink more water, and the extra electrolytes etc. help with my EDS and migraines.Iâve tried several flavors and do have favorites:Best: Peach mangoâtastes almost like peach iced tea, not chemical tasting, mixes well, never get sick of it. Pineapple coconutâgreat for summer, somehow tastes almost creamy like a pina colada. Blueberry lemonadeâwhat I wish the blue raspberry tasted like, love the tart kick.Middle/least memorable: Watermelonâfun for summer but I do recall some separation. Raspberryâfull flavor but got sick of it before finishing the tub. Grapeâless like cough syrup than I worried it would be, but not one Iâve repeat purchased. Lemonadeâreliable but does have a chemical/diet aftertaste (somehow more than the blueberry lemonade).Worst/have drawbacks: Blue raspberryâtastes like a blue lollipop, which Iâm into, but this one always separates especially bad and I find I get sick of it before I can finish the tub. Cherry pomâmy momâs favorite and it does have a full flavor like peach mango, but I find it a bit cloying and cough syrupy.

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW PRIOR TO PURCHASE!
So Iâve seen a lot of reviews stating the clumsiness and the overall ability to dissolve isnât good.I initially got this protein powder because I, like mini can simply not stand the overall taste and texture of normal protein powders. They simply suck. And I can completely see why people might have an overall issue with the way it dissolves when trying to shake this like a normal protein powder. It took a bit of trial and error after initially receiving this product, but try these steps and you will have zero issues!1. Put water in FIRST2. Use warm water (not hot or cold just warm)3. Shake the crap out of it. (A normal blender bottle will do the trick mine has an additional strainer as well)4. If you need it at a cooler temperature immediately, add some ice cubes after, if not refrigerate.Although itâs not the most convenient practice for protein powder to me itâs personally worth it given I canât stand the milky taste of others. Overall the flavor is bearable I just wish it was more potent :)** as you can see by photo mine is fully dissolved

Gets the job done
I saw some reviews mention the taste-both good and bad. Itâs a health product and quite frankly I think it tastes like a health product, like itâs good enough, but itâs not candy. One review mentioned how much it foams up and they werenât kidding, but overall Iâm happy with it. I like it as a way to get some extra protein in that isnât a creamy more shake like variety.Edit To Add: Iâve cracked the code-to address the foaminess-make it and vigorously shake it a while before youâre going to drink it, this gives the foam time to die down. To address the flavor-add a squirt/packet of water flavor stuff (Mio, etc.) gently shake it again. This also helps because there will be some settling from the initial vigorous mix. This has turned this product from something I begrudgingly consume for protein to something I borderline enjoy.

Initially was not sure of the taste, as says no sugar, but tastes very sweet. Stevia is used as per label. Great hydration and love that this product is packed with vitamins! Was recovering from a sinus/cold like virus, and after 1 use, I felt a burst of energy. 3 days later, my energy levels are back to normal. Was sceptical with a lot of products out there, this one works for me! Only complaint is kinda sweet. Will order the kiwi flavoured one next!

We brought these for out trip to Disney World and really enjoyed them. They do have a certain taste to them – as electrolyte powders do – but served cold (with ice) and the right quantity of water (500-600 ml) they are quite decent. I love that there is no sugar and enjoy most of the flavours. Will likely purchase again.

The flavour is very strong ,I added it to my drink bottle to make it more pleasant to drink the allotted daily water amount

Love this stuff. I combine it with creatine and glutamine first thing in the morning and after workouts and i think it tastes great. Some people will say that it is salty, but guess what, itâs an electrolyte drink, itâs supposed to be salty. Highly recommend for the value and taste.

The packaging is pretty but that is as kind as I can be. It took a lot of shaking and swirling to get the powder to unclump and it tasted very – VERY chalky with a bad after taste. I tried three kinds and couldnât do anymore. Also has some stomach pain after one of themEdit – updated review after seller messaged and refunded
