Solid Whitening Toothpaste, but Messy
I’ve been using the Hello Activated Charcoal Toothpaste for a little while now, and overall, Iâm pretty happy with it. The minty flavor is refreshing, and it leaves my mouth feeling clean without being overpowering. I also appreciate that itâs fluoride-based, which is a big plus for cavity protection, unlike some other charcoal toothpastes.The biggest downside is the messâthe black toothpaste can leave stains in the sink if you’re not careful, and it takes a little extra rinsing to fully clean up. Also, the texture is a bit different from regular toothpaste, but you get used to it.Overall, would recommend.

I started using this first as a small sample given to me in a beauty subscription…it really helps with staining and the ingredients do not cause issues inside the mouth..it does not contain sodium laurel sulfate..which is an agent that breaks down the mucin barrier and can cause breaking of skin inside the mouth..I copied this from an article ..Quote”.Exposure to SLS in toothpaste removes the protective mucin layer present in the soft tissues of the oral cavity. This compromises the integrity of the oral mucosa, resulting in ulceration of soft tissues (e.g., gums, inner lining of cheeks, lips, and tongue). Ulcers take about 5-8 days to heal completely…”end quote…..Ever since I found that out and I switched to this toothpaste I have not dealt with skin breaking inside my cheeks after brushing my teeth ever since..I also use the fluoride kind which Is often hard to find..flouride helps prevent cavities for me… I know at one time that it was a scare ,when flouride is added to tap water that a person could get too much fluoride..,,but if you don’t drink tap water,, there shouldn’t be any worry of using too much fluoride.Also the flavor of .the toothpaste is nice….It’s not too strong ,it doesn’t burn ..its just a nice clean mint taste..and the charcoal helps to work on any coffee or tea staining…

This toothpaste gets the job done. My mouth is left feeling minty fresh, and clean. I can use as much toothpaste as the size of a pea and I get the results I mentioned above. Definitely worth it.

Brighten your smile without spending a fortune
This toothpaste is amazing, you can see the difference in a matter of just a few days! The cost may be a little more than your normal toothpaste, but will not leave you penniless and well worth it! In my opinion, it works better than those whitening straps that end up sliding around or any other whitening toothpaste. It tastes good too!

Dumbest tube design that leads to wasted toothpaste.
I like the toothpaste itself, but the proprietary tube opening is a design flaw. This flaw may be intentional to force premature repurchases. It’s very difficult to squeeze the paste when nearing the end of the tube. It also creates a huge mess due to the shape of the tube. However, I’m able to get at least a week more out of the tube by using my thumb on the bottom and two fingers on the messy top. I bought a dispenser to use a vacuum to pull the paste out, but the size is not standard and it won’t work in any device. The more I think about it, the more I think the waste is intentional. Most people wouldn’t bother trying to get the rest out and just purchase more.
