The real deal
I meets all authenticity requirements out there… 1. The only ingredient listed is Batana Oil. 2. The consistency before melting is like butter (not a cream). 3. It has a strong, unique smell of coffee. 4. It literally melts to a liquid / oil consistency when handled and rubbed together in the hands. 5. It is indeed BROWN…not green.I’m using it daily overnight on my beard (the smell is STRONG and not what I want to smell like all day long) and washing it out in the morning shower.So far (approximately 1 week) I’m noticing my beard hair is indeed softer overall. The hope is that I’ll see thicker beard hair that grows a little longer (Currently about 3 inches long) and less split ends.I plan to give it another 3 weeks of consistency.

Both my daughter & I are adjusted to the smell and love the results so we can easily prioritize our results over the less than fragrant odor. But the results!!!My daughter lost 40% of her hair a yr ago to severe scalp ezcema (+ a trip to St Martinâs beautiful yet salty water). We used other products with marginal success. I started using this product 2 months ago & I already see results. We use it twice weekly as a spot treatment along the crown & nape of her head, and deep condition with it twice monthly. Her locs are growing and more importantly, her edges and nape are recovering tremendously. Weâre going to keep at it!! We like the texture (moist but not sticky), it leaves her locs moisturized but not weighed down. Her hair is drinking it up. Will repost after 2 more months.

It’s smells like burnt cofee
It’s smells like burnt cofee- no one in the reviews tells you that part but the smell dissipate hours later. I’m giving it 4 stars because Ive been using it only for 3 weeks 2-3x a week and so far it has changed the texture of my hair, I already had somewhat manageable hair but wow it is softer, feels a bit more fuller but I’m not sure I’ve seen growth as of yet but will give an update. Overall so far my hair and I are having a better relationship these days ð

I bought this because I was diagnosed with traction alopecia. So I’m hoping it will do what it says. Some say it smells like coffee, to me it smells like burnt popcorn … lol I will do an update after a month of use.

My Hair Fail Out
This product took my hair out when I rinsed it out. I smelled perm and when I smelled my hair that came out it was my hair that smelled like perm. I do not nor have I ever had a perm in my hair. The part that I put it on some of it came out the other part of it is bone straight like I had a perm in my hair. My hair is all natural.Thankfully did not put this horrible product all over my hair. The ingredients list only one ingredient which is the product name it does not list that it has coffee in it it does not list that it has perm and chemicals in it however when you open the bottle it does smell like coffee. But when I put it on my hair and rinse it out that’s when I smelled the perm.I called my stylist crying and she had to fix the problem and she saw for herself where my hair came out and wear the other part of it was straight and not curly when my hair is naturally curly.If you want to use this product it’s best to go to a store and not get it off of Amazon from this company obviously like I did.Notice the bad reviews are more recent than the 5 star reviews and they placed our bad reviews down at the bottom mixed in with the other. DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! I am still waiting on my refund!!!!
