Suffer no more
I have lived with gut issues for a while now and this book has been helpful in eliminating some of my issues, still working on some. Not only is gut health painful but you lose sleep, and diarrhea, constipation, fatigue, etc. is also associated with gut health. If you have gut problems, you should be able to talk to yourself to your Dr. about your gastrointestinal issues. Just remember our guts are not the same, I may be able to eat something and its ok, but your spouse may not be able to. Gut health is on the rise in the world today, because of fast foods, processed foods, stress, and more. I found the section about the myths of gut health interesting to say the least and loved the success stories. A really nice book that could help your gut.

Womenâs Gut Health
As I get older, my gut health is something I take very seriously. I got this book to learn more. The author is educated and has experience in this issue. There is so much information in this book on overall well-being of womenâs gut health including digestion, nutrient absorption, immune function, and even mood regulation. Maintaining gut health involves consuming a diet rich in fiber, probiotics, and prebiotics, as well as managing stress levels and avoiding certain foods that can disrupt gut function. Regular exercise and adequate sleep also contribute to a healthy gut. I highly recommend this book because of how knowledgeable the author is.

Lots of clarification
If you have heard of the terms microbiome gut health but didn’t really know how those two things may impact your life, this book clarifies them. Johnson goes over what gut health is, how your biome manages other parts of the body, and how to be ad advocate for yourself to ask the right questions. I like how there is a review of how the body processes food, and what easy-to-understand things to be aware of. Myths are debunked and I’m particularly interested in how the gut is being linked to mental health, which is touched on in this book. There is a “reflection” portion after each chapter that is helpful for the reader.

A Must Read for Women!!
This book does a great job of addressing some embarrassing issues like gas, constipation, and what our poop looks like. Unlike most medical books out there, it is geared towards women. I particularly liked reading the truth about the myths–I don’t know how some of these false ideas get started! My favorite topic was poop–there was so much information that is important to know. There are also lots of case examples that make it interesting, and some may relate to the reader. This book is full of useful information on gastrointestinal issues for women–a must read.

Improve your gut health
I got this book because I wanted to understand how to maintain a healthy gut as I get older. It was well written and really helped me to understand the importance of a healthy digestive system. I really thought the explanation of the micro biome made a lot of sense. And I like how the book easily discusses some of the more embarrassing aspects of gut issues.

Women’s Gut Health
This is an excellent, introductory guide to women’s gut health. It explains what gut health is, how it affects you mentally and physically and what a normal poop is versus an abnormal poop. This book discusses the difference between men and women’s gut health and the signs and symptoms of an unhealthy gut. And it also gives you the steps to take to develop, create and maintain a healthy gut regiment.
