Quick results but VERY drying
I’ve been using this on my (incredibly stubborn and mainly cystic-type) backne as well as on my face (only moderate) and it’s working very well – much, much fewer blemishes coming up, and the ones I had there are healing within 2-3 days when they usually take several weeks to heal. I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks and I saw the results within the first few days. If you do use it on your body invest in a really good body butter though (I use The Body Shop’s hemp body butter) because it is quite drying, and invest in a really good moisturizer for your face as well. I’m experiencing some drying and peeling on my shoulders, and flaking on my face, but my acne is clearing up much better than I expected. It’s also much, MUCH cheaper than Proactiv. I just wish it was easier to get hold of in my country; I’ve found some Clean & Clear products on supermarket shelves but never this one.

I have struggles with acne my whole life and honestly probably will for many more years. With that being said, this product has greatly helped me with it. I’d say the past year to two years my acne has gotten worse where I would have two to three bad pimples at all times on my face. It got to the point that I felt embarrassed taking my make up off even in front of my family. I tried this and it initially dried my face out so bad that I thought what did I get myself into! But I probably gave it about a week and let the oils on my face get use to it. I’ve notice i’m not getting as frequent pimples, the pimples that I do get are not as aggressive and heal faster, and my redness from last pimples has also gotten much better. I’ve been using it twice a day and if my face is feeling or looking extra dry i’ll back off for a day or two. This product has helped my immensely and it very affordable!

Best and only thing for my skin even at 57 years old
At 57 you’d think I’d be done w/ zits but nooooooo. When other women my age are using oils and lotions and creams trying to avoid wrinkles, I’m still trying to dry out the zits. A layer of persa-gel twice a day, morning and evening after washing w/ Clinique mild facial soap bar, is the ONLY thing that keeps my skin clear. They had better not discontinue this stuff..it’s a life saver. I cannot be w/out it. It’s strong but my skin tolerates BP very well so I have clear glowing skin when I use this. It does dry as white hazy stuff if you don’t rub it in well so I always have to check my face in mirror in the car before getting out but it’s a simple touch up to rub that away.

Pretty Good
I’ve used this product for as long as I can remember, probably going back to my teens. I personally find Benzoyl Peroxide isn’t as effective as Salicylic Acid on pimples, but I like that this is a pretty transparent cream (you just have to put on a thin layer and make sure you rub it into the skin). I also use Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment, but even though that’s a clear gel, I find that it dries shiny. This product, Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 Acne Medication Spot Treatment, dries matte. Also, Benzoyl Peroxide is good at preventing blackheads so I concentrate it on areas like my nose and the sides of my nose. Just be careful on using too much of this as it can pill.
