4.5/5 stars- I bought this ELF Invisible Sunscreen as an attempt at a cheaper alternative to the Supergood Unseen Sunscreen. I’ve been using the Supergoop sunscreen, especially under makeup, and LOVE it, but not the price.Cons- ELF’s product needs to be shaken before use otherwise it separates into half gel, half liquid. It’s also a bit more oily than the matte texture of Supergoop. I take off half a star for this reason. However, once it’s all rubbed into the skin it leaves a similar non-sticky finish on the skin as the Supergoop. This product is only 35 SPF compared to Supergoop’s SPF 40.Pros- ELF’s has a great scent compared to Supergoop’s unscented product. It also is a fraction of the price as Supergoop. And for this reason alone, I’ll purchase it again!

Short expiration date
I really like the texture and coverage but the expiration date isn’t but 6 months. I use a variety. All the others have expiration dates well into next year.

I’ve tested and been disappointed by SEVERAL sunscreens over the past 5 years on my hunt for the sunscreen that has it all or at least MOST of what I’m looking for—this elf sunscreen checks all the boxes!I actually feel confident wearing this sunscreen only with no makeup because it doesn’t make me more oily—no powder, no setting spray needed. And this is coming from the oiliest girl in the world you’ll ever meet 😂 who also is acne-prone, eczema-prone, sensitive with textured skin and hyperpigmentation. For reference, I included a pic of what my skin looks like.Not only is this sunscreen great without makeup, it works so well under my makeup as a primer and really controls shine, which is a BIG one for me because I’ve tried other sunscreens—Black Girl Make it Matte, Vacation, Cetaphil, Centrella, this list goes on…Nothing has held a candle to elf. Not to mention how affordable it is!I’m beyond grateful to have come across this sunscreen after seeing all the hype on TikTok and finally breaking down & getting it. I was ready to give up on sunscreen all together because it’s beyond difficult to find one that’s truly white cast-free on dark skin AND won’t make me super oily, so I’m truly thankful to this elf one.If you haven’t already tried this one but you’ve been thinking about it, go ahead and GET IT!✨

I’m very happy with this. I have extremely sensitive skin….very sensitive to the sun. This goes on silky smooth. Nice texture. Does not make your skin feel oily / greasy as most sunscreens do.

Ich habe nach einer guten Alternative zu dem Daily Moisturising Face SPF 50x von Bondi Sands gesucht. Man kann beides nicht miteinader vergleichen, Bondi Sands ist für mich auch gleichzeitig Tagespflege im Sommer + Sonnenschutz. Bei Elf muss man wirklich nur ganz wenig nehmen, da es sonst lange dauert bis es einzieht, zusätzlich ist bei dem Elf Produkt ein Primer mit Bluring-Effect enthalten, welches das Hautbild ausgleicht und Poren minimiert. Fühlt sich etwas an wie ein Gel-Primer. Gute Alternative, aber das nächte Mal greife ich wieder zu Bondi Sands.
