Cooling is an ACCURATE word
This review is for Dove Whole Body Deodorant Cooling Spray in the Sage and Lavender scent. This is a small-medium aluminum can of deodorant spray. If you’re the type of person who reads “whole body deodorant” and thinks “oh great, for other body parts too,” and then doesn’t read the word COOLING, here I am ready to draw your attention to that. Pointing this at sensitive bits will give an ICY BURN SENSATION for several minutes, so be careful! Really nice scent and will probably be great to use during hot summers. Very easy to apply.

Not an antiperspirant. It feels nice and cool, so post gym and hot weather, I really enjoy this.If sweat is an issue you were shopping for, this isnât what you need.The scent is nice, but at the end of the day, this is really just a body spray with a marketing gimmick. Not a necessity.

I generally don’t go for spray-on deodorant, but took a chance with this Dove product. I’m glad I did.First off, the scent is really nice and clean. It isn’t obvious unless I’m down to my undershirt, and at that point I like what I smell.Second, it lasts overnight without issue, and could probably go longer. The bottle says it persists for 72 hours (which I haven’t tested but that seems like quite a boast) but I reapply after every shower.One final note: this product does contain alcohol, and supposedly it can be used on other parts of your body besides underarms. Be warned that if you shave and are sensitive, that alcohol will burn. So proceed with caution if you have sensitive or newly-shaved skin!

I love this but please know it’s a deodorant (and not an anti-perspirant!)
I really like this Dove body spray. The smell is nice and smells clean without being overpowering. I love that it’s aluminum free… But please take note that this is not an antiperspirant! If you’re someone who sweats a lot, you will probably want an anti-perspirant (which contains aluminum as the active ingredient that actually helps prevents sweating). This Dove body spray is a “deodorant” spray, not an anti-perspiration, so works to reduce smell but does not reduce sweating. This is the case for any “deodoration” vs “anti perspirant”. For me, this is great, I don’t tend to sweat a whole lot and I like that it’s an aluminum free option. The cooling sensation isn’t really an added bonus for me, but I don’t mind it either… it does go away quickly.
