Great clean product
I have been using this powder for years. It is easy to use and works well with my skin. It helps cover up mild redness and evens out my skin tone. It never causes irritation as others have done in the past.

I have very problematic, acne prone skin that requires high coverage, non comedogenic, and preferentially clean/non-toxic makeup. Iâve searched high and low for a good powder after my pressed powder brand added a comedogenic ingredient. I was skeptical to try loose powder because of the anticipated messy packaging, however this product is amazing for my skin! It has beautiful, matte coverage thatâs light and non cakey. It actually covers my blemishes (paired with liquid foundation and concealer) and gives the perfect balance of matteness and glow. Best of all, the ingredients are very clean and Iâve had no breakouts from this! I do wish the price point was lower for the amount of product you get. But Iâm happy enough with the quality to continue using 🙂

Favorite foundation!
My main priority is non-toxic when it comes to makeup, and second is full coverage (hello freckles and acne scars.) I struggled finding the right shade for me in many brands, and tried liquids and powders. This powder foundation is not only the most perfect shade for me, but I love the light feel but FULL coverage I can achieve! I am light-fair skinned with pink undertones, and the Cool 3 is the most perfect match for my skin I’ve ever found. After roughly 2 coats, it almost gives an air-brushed look. I also have highly sensitive, breakout prone skin and this caused no issues. Super happy!

The best natural foundation I’ve found
I have very acne-prone skin and it can be more affected by the type of makeup I use. It took me a long time to come to the reality that makeup is essentially dirt on your face. However, there is some dirt that is less problematic than others! It is also very important to me to use products with safe ingredients rather than smothering chemical-dirt on my face. I used Bare Minerals for almost a year but discovered that even that had ingredients that were weighing heavy on my face. I switched to Alima Pure a few years ago and have been using it ever since. I have found the ingredients to be gentler on my face. I only wear makeup a few days a week, so since I only buy new foundation every four months or so, the price is worth it to me. I will say that this stuff does not last as long as Bare Minerals and the product does not go as far. This is also the same price for slightly less product. However, non-toxic skin-safe products is more of my priority and therefore I will pay more for that.

Really nice Finish, weightless and comfortable.
I decided to try a mineral powder makeup because I was having eye allergy issues, turns out it was my contacts.. but I am glad I did. This powder covers IPress I let well, although I donât have anything major to cover up. When I did have a red zit I tapped my finger in the powder and gently rubbed it over the zit and it disappeared! When using a proper brush you can buff this foundation in so it just looks like you have nice alone without make up on. I have noticed it helps to let my sunblock/moisturizer sink in before going in with the mineral foundation, otherwise it looks a little darker. I use the real techniques face brush and it works well. I ordered a flat buffing brush that had good reviews for mineral foundation but it wasnât stiff enough to buff the make up in so the coverage isnât as good or smooth. The key is to buff it in for sure. It also lasts all day and I work in a hot sweaty environment, with a mask on.

Iâve only used this for a week so take this review with a grain of salt, BUT, I am so impressed with Alima Pure Satin Foundation. For the last five years, Iâve struggled with acne along my jawline. It may been part hormonal acne but I was constantly getting cysts, no matter what time of the month and so, I was slathering my face in nars radiant concealer and sheer glow foundation. Well, finally I stumble upon some blog that recommends Alima Pure because it doesnât contain bismuth oxychloride. So I buy it on a whim. And within one week of trying it (seriously I bought this foundation five days ago), my skin is the clearest itâs been in a decade. I could honestly cry. I will never stop using this product if these results remain. The color is a perfect match (which is hard for me because I am an extremely pale olive tone) and the texture is great. At first I was like, oh no, I look like a bag of powdered sugar but within an hour, the minerals melt into your skin and blend seamlessly. By the end of the day, it absorbs all my oil so I have way less blackheads and way more natural, beautiful skin. To cover my acne scars (which are now disappearing), I tap a little extra powder onto a brush and press it onto my dark spots. I have been getting compliments on my skin all week. Please, if you struggle with acne, breakouts or bad skin, please try this product. Your life will change!

Very disappointed
I have purchased this product twice in the past few years. I always received the 22oz container for less than 25.00 dollars. Now they have sent this 15 oz container for 32.00 dollars. How ridiculous!! I will not be reordering this product because it has become a rip off. The product was very good, but not enough to take advantage of me.
