I have had a few electronic toothbrushes but this is my first philips 6500. After using it once I can feel a absolute difference my teeth feel clean. I like the vibration adjustment it is extremely powerful, more than other electric toothbrushes I have used. it was a bit pricey but comparing it to others I have used, it is clearly different and better in my opinion. I love that you can charge it through the travel case but my only dislike or worry is the travel case latch, I wish it was a little more secure I travel a lot and can see it opening up because it is only held close by magnets. That might change though after I travel with it for a bit.

Iâve had this toothbrush now for 4.5 years and am impressed.First off, the thoroughness of the teeth cleaning is amazing. The sonic waves leave teeth incredibly smooth and clean. I also keep getting compliments that my teeth are super white. Not bad for a coffee addict.Although there are three settings (whitening, gum massage, clean), I have been using just the cleaning function.Most amazing is the battery life. Although the travel case dubs as charging case, the toothbrush worked for two weeks straight, brushing twice a day for at least 3 minutes each time.

Unreliable product
Iâve purchased Philips Sony care electric toothbrush in July 2020. It cost me $179.90 and of course plus tax on top of that.At beginning of January 2025 the toothbrush stopped working. And it cannot be fixed.What a waste of money. What a shame to Philips.My cheaper(only $65) toothbrush Oral-B still works after almost 8 years of using.

I got this version of sonicare brush to upgrade from a more basic version. I love it. The upgrade was absolutely worth it. It makes me happy to use.I got a fantastic deal and specifically chose the purple color because I liked the look. The actual brush looks just like the pictures.This brush has all the features I was looking for – timing with notification when to change quadrants, brush head change reminder, brush head size I like. Bonus – there were features I didn’t even know I wanted – brushing modes, very nice travel case.The only thing I dislike is the noise, but I do think it is quieter than my previous electric brush. It seems like the noise is something you get to live with when it’s an electric brush.

Excellent toothbrush, cheap case
I’m going to review the toothbrush and case separately.Toothbrush:My favorite toothbrush to date and I have used quite a few including all the major brands. Brush heads are not bulky like some other brands. Makes for a more pleasant mouthfeel, especially if you have a smaller mouth. The vibration is not unpleasant and doesn’t irritate your gums. I had some receding gum issues due to the aggressive nature of OralB brushes. It is lightweight and yet feels very well made. Battery life has been excellent and charging it is quick and easy. If you’re wondering what brand to buy just get this one. The extra features may or may not be worth it to you. Really, I only use the normal cleaning mode, so those other features are not worth it.Travel Case:I bought this model because I wanted the charging travel case. In the past we always forgot to bring the charger and ended up with a dead toothbrush toward the end of the trip. As a charger the case does excellent needing only a USB cable.The case does fall a little short it its design. It is a very bulky large case. The toothbrush is smaller than my last one, but the case is considerably bigger. It is made of a very cheap feeling plastic which feels awkward given the high-quality feel of the toothbrush. There also isn’t a place for the cable to be stored. For the large price increase to get this case one would assume it would be very high quality. It is not. It does its job but feels like a cheap knockoff product.

I used an Oral-B for years but finally switched to Philips Sonicare, and I absolutely love it! I was a dental assistant and appreciate a healthy mouth. I have used a Sonicare for about 20 years and have always loved how they clean my teeth. My 15 + year old Sonicare wasn’t holding a charge anymore so decided it was time for a new one. WOW!
