I have done collagen powders in my coffee, so I thought this would be something a little different to try. Compared to the powders I have used, this seems to have less collagen, but It also contains vitamin C, biotin and hydrolyzed elastin. My smell is still quite off and currently oranges have a terrible smell and taste to me, so I was worried I wouldn’t be able to drink these. Fortunately, however, they are not too bad to me. They don’t necessarily taste good, but I think that is just my weird taste/smell thing and not an actual representation of what it tastes like. These are easy to take each day. Each serving comes in its own tube, which has a screw on lid. You can easily unscrew the top and drink it straight from the tube or pour it into a glass. You could even mix it with some water if you want to make the taste a little more mild. While the delivery system is easy, I do find it quite wasteful. That is a lot of extra plastic. Each bottle looks quite fancy, so at about $4 per serving, I feel like you are paying extra for the presentation with this one. I would like to see it in a larger bottle with several servings. This may be less convenient, but may make it more economical. As is, however, these would be great if you wanted to take some on the go with you. The sturdy tubes would stay safe in a bag, and they don’t need to be refrigerated. The expiration date gives these just over a year of shelf life. Each tube contains 30 calories and 3g of added sugars.

Too much plastic
For some reason my previous review disallowed information about taste and consistency. So, here goes: its liquid, has an orange flavor, may or may not be healthy. And, the package comes with 6 plastic bottles, not great for environmental concerns.

High quality, easy to take, but pricey
Very easy to take. Doesn’t smell like much of anything and has a subtle orange taste. No fishy smell or taste even though that’s the source for the 3 grams of collagen in each vial. The vials are very sturdy so there’s no danger with taking one on the go to have later in the day. The top is screw on and has a tamper seal like soda bottles. I like that it’s produced in South Korea so I can be at ease with the sourcing of the ingredients. It’s formulated into a thin liquid that’s easy to drink, not a syrup or something that you’d have trouble getting to flow out. Main downside is that the cost will add up if you’re taking this every day as they’re a few dollars per vial.

These ILO liquid biotin collagen are a little spendy but a worthwhile investment to daily skincare supplement regimen. They are enriched with biotin, vitamin C, elastin and hyaluronic acid which are all beneficial for glowing skin. Collagen has more or less been part of my daily supplement routine on and off for years and I have to say this is the most enjoyable. For one it comes in these beautiful rose gold ampoules, which exude quality. They are also very convenient and easy to take. They are already measured, easy to travel with and best of all…taste great! It has a sweet orange citrus flavor and is so easy to drink. It’s my morning beauty shot. I take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and am on my way. No need to measure or mix. I don’t refrigerate them but they could be.
