Authentic Clarins Exfoliating Scrub
Decent body scrub, authentic Clarins product (you can verify it’s authenticity with the QR code on the packaging). Exfoliation wise, it does the job- it’s a thick gritty paste. Not too rough, but it doesn’t particularly leave my skin feeling moisturized the way my preferred exfoliator does, and more importantly, there’s almost no scent to it whatsoever. The product listing description from the actual Clarins website describes it as a gentle body scrub with some kind of “new”, ultra-fine, exfoliating granules of “100% natural origin” but doesn’t mention what it actually is. It also states that it contains salicylic acid, which I wasn’t expecting – I use a product on my face with this ingredient, mainly for acne control. It also contains “Moringa seed extract to purify, NEW Organic Cashew Nut oil… and Hibiscus Sabdariffa flower acids”. It’s supposed to be scented, but if it is, I can’t really tell what the scent is. There’s a hint of one.Overall, the product does what it’s supposed to, but at this price I probably expected something more. I get better results and moisturization from a cup of sugar and some baby oil gel mixed together in the shower. Would not personally buy again, but I like that their product is all natural, gentle on sensitive skin, and probably perfect for someone who doesn’t actually want a lot of fragrance.

No Intense Smell or Residue Like Similar Products
I first noticed that this doesn’t have some crazy intense smell, which I really appreciate. The scrub is fine, so I don’t feel like I’m abusing my skin while I’m using it. It does give a smoother feel to my skin, but I plan on using the entire tube before commenting on any potential long term benefits.I haven’t experienced any irritation and I do feel I have somewhat sensitive skin. We’re all different though, so you won’t know if your experience will be the same unless you try it.I did notice that it leaves less residue behind that the majority of other similar products, and that’s a huge plus for me.I’m happy with it so far! No complaints.

Gentle But Effective Exfoliation, Smooths & Moisturizes-Dyes & Fragrance But Smells Light & Pleasant
Clarins NEW Exfoliating Body Scrub is thick and has fairly large granules, but they feel smooth against my skin rather than harsh or rough. I prefer to use this on wet rather than dry skin as my skin is sensitive. Iâve mostly used this on my arms and elbows, though Iâve also used it on my legs before applying self tanner as I get better more even results using tanner after exfoliation. This scrub leaves my skin smoother, softer and it feels like it has a light moisturizing residue even after rinsing. I feel that my skin absorbs my cream better after exfoliating and that helps my skin look more moisturized and less crepey. I havenât experienced irritation, but I also donât scrub too vigorously and also limit use to 1x-2x a week to avoid over exfoliation. The product page says this scrub has salicylic acid, which I try to avoid as Iâve noticed skin irritation when using products with it. But I donât see it listed on the label (maybe itâs also known by another name?) This scrub has antioxidants and other good stuff but also has chemicals like artificial dye and parfum. This isnât what id describe as a natural product.I find the scent light and pleasant, though this has more parfum/fragrance than the star ingredient moringa oleifera seed extract and ingredients such as phytic acid. I canât say that more of these other things would be desirable but always feel that less fragrance is better as it poses an irritation risk and may contain any number of 1000s of chemicals. But overall I like this body scrub. 4 stars. Made in France.

Lovely exfoliating cleanser!
This is a generous size of exfoliating body scrub. It’s a nice creamy consistency with exfoliating breads that are pretty tame… It’s not enough roughness to really exfoliate week on it’s own, but with the right exfoliating clothes, it would be a bonus as it has salicylic acid. It has a very nice, light fragrance

strongly scented, not the best
I didn’t expect the scent on a scrub to be too strong, but this is definitely on the overwhelming side. As a scrub, it is fairly gentle (scrub wise – my sensitive skin did react but I believe it was the scent) and easy to use, but the scent is overpowering and there was nothing it did better than scrubs half the price. I’m not even sure how to describe the scent except maybe excessively floral, and not in a nice and fresh way. I’ll probably just use this scrub on my feet as they’re the least likely to react to scent and this made my skin blotchy, red, and itchy after use. The consistency of the scrub is nice and easy to manage without waste, but the cost is pretty high for a small tube of body scrub.

Nice Luxury Body Scrub
This is the best body scrub I have ever used. It’s a premium luxury brand, so not an inexpensive product. This is a very thick and creamy scrub. A small amount goes a long way. It is not an aggressive scrub so it doesn’t leave skin feeling raw. It has a mild scent. I found this to very beneficial on my dry winter hands and feet. Suggested use is twice a week.

Gentle but with enough ‘grit’ for exfoliation, lightly pleasant scent
This âClarins NEW Exfoliating Body Scrubâ hits the sweet spot between too rough and not granular enough to exfoliate. The instructions suggest using 1-2 times per week, which sounds about right to avoid skin chafing. Itâs a mostly botanical based formula along with salicylic acid, and has a light, pleasant scent. The consistency is thick enough that it doesnât run off in the shower as you are trying to apply it, which avoids waste. One application was enough to feel a difference on the skin.

Good exfoliation, but residue left behind
I like the exfoliation this offers, it uniform and not too scratchy. Unfortunately it leaves a residue behind that must be washed off with soap. The fragrance is the traditional Clarins smell, pretty strong.
