Strong smell that lasts
I’ve tried many shower tabs, and these have had the strongest fragrance I’ve found so far. They also last quite a while in the shower. I let the water hit it more directly than I usually would in the shower, but if I hadn’t, I know one of these tabs would last at least two showers. I wish there were potentially another essential oil mixed in to make it a more rounded fragrance, maybe eucalyptus or something. As it is now, with just peppermint and spearmint, these are very reminiscent of toothpaste. I think these are a pretty good value at $15 for 10 tabs since they are also a lot larger than other shower tabs I’ve tried. The packaging has a great seal, keeping the smell and freshness in. It’s a huge plus too that the individual tabs are “naked” and don’t have any excess packaging.

I love shower steamers but this one is so so. They last several showers if not placed directly in the flow of water. However the scent and steam is very mild almost non existent. I even placed two tabs in the shower to attempt to get an effect but no luck.

Shower Tabs Deliver On Aromatherapy
Before you even put these Arctic Mint Tabs in the shower, you’re hit with the fresh scent of spearmint and peppermint as soon as you open the bag.Given that the tabs have a heavy presence of mint straight out of the bag, I thought the scent would be equally abundant once placed in the shower. As it turned out, the aroma wasn’t as heavy as I was expecting.The essential oils were balanced fairly well using one tab but, personally speaking, I wouldn’t have minded if the scent was a little heavier. Again, that’s a subjective thing … even the back of the bag suggests using “2 tablets for extra aroma”.The press-lock seal is really nice too. It seemed to help keep the bag closed and maintain the mint aroma in the bag when not using the tabs.These tabs are pretty big so I suggest turning on the shower and letting the hot water run directly on them for a few minutes before getting in. This was beneficial for me since it allowed the hot water to hit the tabs in order to allow the aromatherapy process to start.I enjoyed using these and look forward to trying 2 tabs next time.
