    Totally Worth It!
UPDATE: I used this a second time as I was in the shower. I washed my hair, which is shoulder length, applied it generously (six full pumps), let it sit on my hair for about 10 minutes, washed it out thoroughly, and the results were significantly more prominent than the first time. My dull brown is more auburn; my blonde is now noticeably gray. Though, my natural grays seem to be much more noticeable. It’s important to note that I got out as much moisture out of my hair before applying the conditioner! Still so amazed and happy! But I’ve come to the conclusion that with one use, you’re not going to get crazy vibrant color. It takes *time* – so for those that are on the fence or feel jipped because they didn’t notice what they’re expecting – give it time. Also, for those that hate the upkeep of vibrant colors, this product is perfect. As in, I can see how easily it can refresh greens, blues, purples, etc.Get this stuff!—Gotta say… For a color depositing conditioner, I am in awe.For the record, I was just looking to refresh my hair. I grew my roots out quite a bit, but still had very blonde ends that I desperately wanted to turn whiter, more silver. And for one application (on dry, previously washed hair), the results were enough to be excited about continued use. I mean, it even gave my naturally dark hair a beautiful auburn undertone – something I didn’t expect to happen – and I feel like I didn’t use much at all.The smell was pretty intense, but when washed out – it was so light and lovely. My hair was in deep need of hydration, and it proved successful (like, seriously, so soft)! And I still have at *least* half the bottle left.Definitely happy with this product!

Natural Redhead with Virgin Hair Here….
TL;DREasy to use. Didn’t turn my virgin hair orange. Applied on wet natural red virgin hair for 8 minutes. Smell isn’t bad. Hair left soft and conditioned. Achieved desired results. Reapply once a week (or as needed). Highly recommend!(update at the bottom)I’m 43 years old and my hair is starting to darken out to an auburn I don’t really care much for. People are starting to call my red hair brunette. Makes me sad I’m losing the vibrancy of my red!!After reading the reviews I was scared to try this. Many were way more orange than I wanted. Most are on already bleached/color treated hair. The application times and methods were all over the place. I wanted only subtle change and nothing drastic. I wanted to keep my red hair natural looking, but make the color pop again. I read through SO MANY of these reviews trying to decide if I should and how to execute this flawlessly. LolAPPLICATION METHOD I USED:I decided to stay on the safe side and apply it in the shower on wet hair for 8 minutes. If it wasn’t enough I would up the time. I know it washes out but I didn’t want to have to take 3 showers to tone it down and waste unnecessary product. I washed my hair with shampoo first to make sure my scalp and roots were clean and free of oils. Then used approximately 6 pumps total and worked it into my hair (like shampoo) again. Then ran a comb through it all from root to ends to ensure even distribution. After my 8 minute timer went off, I Rinsed with cool water and got out. I used a hair dryer to dry my hair. Curled it all then took the photo.ROOTS:I noticed many mentioned their roots not being touched and I’m not sure on those if they were all on people with color treated hair. I felt like I read one natural that felt the roots got neglected. There was no issues with my rootsSTAINING:I had no issues with staining. Applying in the shower I just worked it into my hair and didn’t get it everywhere. Rinsed my hands immediately once I got it in there.SMELLI personally liked the smell. It’s not very strong. I’m honestly surprised it even has been mentioned.CONDITIONINGIt left my hair feeling soft. It was nearly slipping out of my curling iron afterwards.COLORI am happy with the color it has added. Very subtle, but I can tell. It did not completely cover my greys but I do think one wash with it toned them down. Is exactly what I was looking for. I might wait a couple washes and then leave it on wet hair for 10 minutes. Then update with a photo.MAINTAIN COLOR:I apply this about once a week and apply it more to my roots than the rest of my hair. Then comb out down through my wet hair with a large toothed comb so that it blends in, but doesn’t continue to overdue the ends as much.EYEBROWS:I’ve applied this to my eyebrows so that they match better. Must do so carefully unless you want stains around your brows. ;)REMOVE COLOR:I accidentally discovered that Apple Cider Vinegar shampoo will take most all of the color out in one wash! I wanted to add this for anybody that would like to reverse the process after undesired results.I LOVE that this has and will revived my natural red hair!! Highly recommend to my fellow natural redhead sistas!!UPDATE:It’s really hard to get the red to show up in pictures, but I wanted to update how things were going on this product. It is now April 3, 2024. After a few applications I received the shade I used to be. I use this once a week and only for about 5 minutes on wet hair.UPDATE:I have now been using this for over a year as needed to blend in at the roots to keep it looking vibrant and natural. In Sept 2024 I received a complement from a flight attendant telling me to never color my hair. Trust her that she used to be a hairdresser. So pleased she couldn’t tell I touch up my natural red hair. Made my day. 🙂 Last picture is today after a year use. Dec 28, 2024.

Can Leave It On Longer Than Directed
I’ve been trying to tone down and “de-stripe” these crappy highlights for months. My hair is dark brown. I was afraid to get the darker brown, so I got the Mocha to hopefully blend the highlights in better. The first couple of times I left it on for about 10-12 minutes and nothing happened. This time I left it on for about 35-40 minutes and it did subdue and blend the highlights better. So don’t be afraid to leave it on longer than directed. Overall, I think the Mocha is a kind of medium, mousy brown. It made my hair a duller and flatter shade. I think it could help to even out your color if you have a lot of shades in it. I don’t think it is a pretty standalone shade. I wore plastic gloves, so it didn’t stain my skin. A couple of drops landed on my white countertop and did leave a very faint stain. It did not stain my white tub as I was rinsing it out, but I kept the spray of the water hitting the area where the color landed. It is not conditioning whatsoever. Unless you use an additional conditioner, your hair will feel dried out. It smells kind of like frosting and lingers after you wash and dry your hair. Noticeable scent for a few hours. Random thoughts, but maybe they will help address some of your questions! 🙂

This product is small but it works. I bought it because I couldn’t find the hair colour I buy in stock anywhere (Splat). I wanted to try the purple karacolour as that is or was rather my hair colour. But that colour was not in stock either. My hair was faded pink as the purple splat turns pink when it fades. So I figured blue and pink make purple. It is not the intense same shade of purple as it was afrer only two 3 minute uses. But is instead more of a pastel indigo, I am happy with it.

My professional hairdresser said “I don’t normally recommend store-bought hair products, but I recommend this one.’’ I use it like conditioner and leave it in my hair 5-15 mins once a week. It leaves my hair shiny and gives the colour a vibrant boost between hair colouring appts.

If you are a natural brunette and struggling to embrace going grey, this review is for you….It can be a particularly difficult journey to transition to grey when you are a brunette (vs blonde). I have tried and failed so many times over the last 5 years. I tried 1) going platinum blonde, 2) trying to maintain blonde at home in the pandemic and accidentally frying my hair (!), 3) having to chop all my hair off after frying my hair (!!), 4) accepting the inevitable and embracing my new salt and pepper hair, but 5) changing my mind when I became a grandmother for the first time (it was a bit too much at once!) and applying a box of apparently temporary “semi permanent wash-out” brown hair dye, only to then find out it does not EVER wash out, even after trying every method under the sun to remove the colour, to then 6) FINALLY conceding defeat forever (or so I thought) and growing my grey hair in – albeit at a snail-like pace – over the past year and a half. But after all these ups and downs, in my heart I was still yearning to find a solution because I feel 20 years older than I am when I look in the mirror. I support all women who choose to embrace their grey and age gracefully, as well as those who choose to maintain their hair dye. It’s a very personal choice. I wish I was courageous enough to fully embrace my grey hair, and I will one day, but I’m not there yet. Even though I’m 49 this month, I still feel young and when I look at myself in the mirror I cannot reconcile the old woman looking back at me! Also, I am trying to make up for many years I have lost due to chronic pain preventing me from living life to the fullest.I provide this context because I struggled for YEARS to figure out a way to easily hide my greying brunette hairs without the need for constant hair dye and root touch ups. I lost so much hair length due to the number of times I had to “start over” after all the above failed attempts. With this in mind, I am so incredibly grateful I found this holy grail of a product. After just one treatment, I feel like my younger self again! And the results will get better with repeated applications. For my first treatment, after researching the best strategy on YouTube, I applied a liberal amount of the Mocha to my dry hair for 40 minutes, covered my head in glad wrap for good measure, and prayed to the hair gods that this stuff is the real deal that others claim it to be…. If you’re a middle aged female, you’ll be familiar with that anticipatory nervous excitement you get when a timer finally goes off and you step in the shower to wash out a new hair dye. You’re rinsing the dye out and wondering, with hope, just how amazing (or not) your hair is going to be when you step out and look in your mirror. Today, I finally took these steps and when I looked in the mirror I was gobsmacked at how amazing my hair not only looked, but felt! And this is just my first application. I can only imagine how amazing my hair is going to look and feel after repeated treatments!!The very first thing I did when I got out of the bathroom was order another bottle of this magical Clenditioner. I very, very rarely write reviews, but this product is so incredible that I have to write this in the hope that if this helps just one woman out there like me, then I have shared a bit of good in this crazy, messed-up world. So do yourself a favour and give it a try. I might even buy a few different colours so I can mix it up. But please don’t rush out and buy all the Mocha because I need this stuff in my life!Ps. Re the reviews stating it didn’t work on grey hair – it DOES work if you use the right method. Apply generously to DRY hair, leave it on under glad wrap for 40 minutes for your first application (but no more due to risk of allergic reaction), and repeat the process daily until you get the desired level of intensity and coverage.Update: After four sessions of colouring both dry and in the shower, the hue is more of a really dark grey with a tinge of purple, but I’m getting comments from people about how much they love my hair! So even though it’s not as brown as it was after my first use, I’ll definitely keep on using it and may even branch out to our colours. I’m thinking of trying Merlot next.

Used alone this “shampoo” yields a reddish tinge. But when mixed with the vivid blue it gives me varied shades of violets … pretty fun to play with it on my bleached hair. Not so absorbent on natural grey hair though

I use it as a conditioner in the shower. Have on few minutes and used 3 times now and my hair is so bright and blueish teal. Definitely more on the blue side. First time it did stain my hands but managed to get it all off right away. Now I use gloves. I also like the smell.I will continue to use till it’s all gone. Will buy other colours when I want a change.
