Unexpectedly surprised at how much I love this perfume!
I honestly never write a review but THIS perfume is worth the praise and effort. The price for the size of the bottle was such a pleasant surprise. Iâll admit when I first applied it, I was underwhelmed as if Iâd smelled the scent before but once it sat and warmed up on my skin for about 20 min, my mind completely changed about my initial doubts. Iâm no expert about fragrance notes but it is such a sweet, warm, feminine, sexy, without being overpowering scent. The vaporizer releases softly and the longevity lasts about 6 hrs for me. Iâll spray some on my skin and I can still smell the aroma of it on my clothes the next day. Iâm honestly here for it and Iâll definitely be purchasing another bottle.

Burberry Goddess dupe
Burberry Goddess and Mon Guerlain are my all time favorite fragrances. This is an exact dupe of Burberry Goddess. The initial spray is slightly more alcoholic, but I imagine once this perfume sits for a few weeks, it’ll be impossible to tell the difference. Best dupe of Goddess that I’ve tried. And obviously, similar to Mon Guerlain as well.For those who haven’t smelled Burberry Goddess, it is a warm vanilla, lavender fragrance. The notes listed for Athena are completely different and hard to find when this is so clearly a lavender vanilla. It’s floral, and fresh, with a sweet and smooth vanilla that becomes more pronounced with the dry down. At $20/100ml to Goddess’ $168/100ml, you cannot beat this dupe.

Beautiful Scent
If you are looking for a good goddess dupe, this is about 95% the DNA. It is definitely not as lavender heavy as goddess and dries down, sweeter on my skin. It is truly a beautiful light airy vanilla-scent. I also own goddess and Angham and in my opinion for the price this is an absolutely worth every penny. I would say Angham and Athena are basically the same exact copies of each other. I get about 2 to 3 hours of longevity, projection is maybe 2 to 3 feet but honestly for the price you canât go wrong! The bottle is gorgeous⦠And I actually prefer the sprayer on this to all of the others. The first day I wore this I had some lady follow me and asked me what I was wearing. I had to write it down for her. Itâs beautiful!

Citrus, green, floral vanilla perfume
Delight blind buy! This will be my go to sophisticated corporate girly scent for the spring and summer.To my nose this is a citrusy, green, fruity opening, then a floral middle and a creamy, fluffy vanilla with a hint of musk ending. The green note is subtle and blends really well with the citrus opening, making it a standout for me. Middle florals is soft and rounded, if I concentrate hard enough I can make out the jasmine. Eventually Athena dries down to a creamy, fluffy vanilla skin scent with a hint of musk that I really love.Close scent bubble. Unfortunately doesn’t last very long on me, at most 4 hours. I am hoping that the scent will last longer as the bottle macerates.To me Athena is not really a dupe of Burberry Goddess. Burberry Goddess opening is much more screechy with a dominant lavender note. It is then transitioning straight into vanilla, in my opinion, a less pleasant scent journey. The dry down between the two is fairly similar.

This perfume smells so good! One of my favs and I have a very large, good quality collection. I will purchase again for sure. If you like sweet gourmand then you are gonna absolutely love this one. Smells just like Goddess without the higher price point. The bottle is nice so is the top. The amount is right and it sprays nice too. I get soooo many compliments when I wear it out. I go nose blind but people smell it on me still after hours of wear.

Wait for the drydown
I bought this because I heard it was a dupe for Burberry Goddess. When I sprayed it, I thought it was awful and I had made a mistake. All I could smell was topnotes of unidentifiable aldehydes, like something I had smelled in an antique bottle from my grandmother’s mirrored perfume tray. I set it aside and forgot about it. The next day I pulled my robe from the hook to put it in the laundry and I smelled this perfume I’d gotten on it. It was the exact smell of Goddess, the lavender, the vanilla! It had dried down to everything I wanted and was projecting that scent the next day!This one screeches from the bottle like a mythological harpy that will claw your eyes out. But if you can wait, it settles to something soft and absolutely beautiful. I am pleased with this fragrance!

Lives Up To The Hype!
I haven’t smelled Burberry Goddess so I can’t tell you if it’s a true dupe or not, but I can tell you, this smells amazing! Blows my mind that something can smell this good and only cost 20.00. I can’t speak to the longevity yet but I’m sitting here with a few sprays on and I can smell it all around me. I’m not the best at picking out individual notes but I’m getting lavender, citrus, a little vanilla and a little floral. It smells clean, fresh, feminine and elegant. SO GOOD!! This perfume along with Kismet Magic are my best blind buys and they both happen to be from Maison Alhambra.
