Coffee – so disappointed!
I am so heartbroken to have to leave a bad review for the coffee scent. I was so, so, so looking forward to it and had my eye on it for months before I finally decided to buy it.The initial smell is WONDERFUL. The scent reminds me of cutting open a bag of coffee beans and getting hit in the face with that warm, delicious smell of fresh coffee. At first it’s so strong it’s almost overwhelming, and then it totally vanishes. After applying this perfume the walk to my front door has already dissipated it. It lasts about 5 minutes on the skin and then it smells like NOTHING. It’s just gone.I have never had a perfume that fades SO fast and I could not believe it. I tried EVERYTHING to get this perfume to last a little bit longer and nothing works. I’m talking the whole works: perfume on the perfume, lotion on the perfume, spraying it on lotion, spraying it on my skin, spraying it on my clothes. So on and so forth. I tried everything and I have given up on this one. It’s such a let down and terrible introduction into Demeter for me.

Got this for my boyfriend because he loves coffee scented fragrance and he loved it! He wore it everyday and it lasted about 4 months. The only con was that the scent didn’t seem to last super long. It would be gone within a hour or so.

Scent and longevity
Personally it was more of a really strong cocoa scent than it was coffee and I felt like the scent faded pretty quickly and didnât last. I didnât hate the product however it didnât work for me or what I was going for.

I opened and sprayed it as soon as I got it because I was so excited and it smelled exactly how I hoped it would. It smells heavenly. Next day I put it on in the morning before I went to work (shipyard) and it was not as prominent when I arrived at work so after about 30 mins the smell is not strong enough for it to be a compliment getter but I can’t complain too much because about 5hrs into my 10hr shift I still get whiffs of it on my skin (it’s nice to get compliments on how you smell every once in awhile but not something I’m looking for, I just know a few of my coworkers *will* say if they smell something good ð ) so all in all for me to be able to smell it on my skin after that long even if it was faint is good because in 99°F or higher temperatures with high humidity and a fan pointed in my direction constantly I would’ve thought it would be gone long before ð

Warm. Sweet. Soft. Something.
I had this in the roll on and then immediately needed the spray. It’s very sweet and very subtle. It’s not a strong or chemical scent, it’s just… sweet. It doesn’t have that over the top vanilla scent a lot of gourmet perfumes get that says “vanilla” or “marshmallow” and it smells like vanilla cupcake butter cream sugar yankee candle hell. It’s literally just a very soft, subtle sweet scent that’s kind of warm on the skin but doesn’t have a lot going on.You know how some business advice goes on and on about how you have to make sure your perfume is really subtle when you go to a job interview and it’s incredibly rude to wear any perfume to work because it could trigger other people? This is a “job interview” perfume for sure. Unless someone is right on top of you or their nose is very sensitive, they won’t consciously pick up anything at all.

Don’t waste your money
The scent dissipates as fast as you spray it. I literally cannot smell this after I pump 30 spritzes into a closed bedroom. I tried just spraying like a maniac until my finger got tired, left the room and closed the door for about 2 minutes, came back – nothing. It’s not even a good pillow spray – it doesn’t stick around on fabric. I do like what lime I can detect (I don’t smell soda pop like others have mentioned; I smell margarita if anything because of the alcohol), but it’s just so weak. Horrible waste of money. Alexis Rose wouldn’t even use this as a hair perfume, lmao.

Very synthetic raspberry type fragrance which has an unpleasant chemical under tang. Not one of the Library of Fragrance finest fragrances.

got it for my mum who loves horses and she’s wearing it every day now. i also got wet garden, grass, mountain air and snow. all of them smell amazing and everyone i tell they think it’s a joke but once they smell it, they’re convinced. this is one of the best presents to get for someone for christmas for example. I’m keen to use mine to then be able to try another smell. collect them all….;) no seriously, they smell great. it never really made sense to me, all those perfums in a perfum shop, you get a headache after being in there for 5 minutes and your nose can’t smell anything after 3 different perfumes and they all smell kinda samey and beyond citrussy and sweet and heavy and light you can;t really tell what this smell is. makes much more sense to have a perfume that smells of fresh apples, or fresh air or what not, there are so many fragrances in this library, it’s crazy…
